I noticed a single painless blister on my lip 24 hours ago. I believe that it developed after trying to rip skin from my lip with my teeth two days and pulling skin of my lip manually a couple of days ago because of chapped lips. However, I was really suprised to see a blister develop. As I stated, it is a single painless blisterin the center of my my lip, not along the edge or corner of my mouth.
I had what it may appear as an outbreak on my lower lip. It looks clear with a cut in it.. It went away and exactly one week later the same white looking blister with a cut in it... It doesn't hurt except where the cut is. I had it cultured and a pcr swab and I will know by next week... Why if it is a breakout is it so not symptomatic in nature? It doesn't hurt no pain. The only other symptoms I have had are two swollen lymph glands and a red scrotum...
About 6 days ago I was watching Seinfeld and eating 2 overly salted cucumbers and when I got to the bottom of the bowl I felt the left side of my bottom lip go numb and tingly and when I looked in the mirror I found there was a clear blister that had formed on the inner part of my bottom lip on the left side. By the following morning the blister had downgraded in size but was still quite blatantly a blister. It was now a clearish/white color and wasn't really all that painful.
If you kissed her it could be. Or if you gave oral sex. This isn't as common but still a posibility.
I bit my lip and shortly after went outside to help my husban paint our house I was outside for no longer than 2 hours, after inside i realized i had a white spot on bottom lip its a little to the right but more in the middle of lip i squeezed it twice it did nothen but within the hour it turned into a white blister and also has a small white spot on the left side of bottom lip it hurts and stings i have no idea what it is if theres anyone who can help me in finding out what it is and how do i
a blister on your lips? Today I saw two dry raised spots in the middle of my upper lip (where the upper and lower lip meet) and I pulled them off, with nothing being revealed there. A cold sore wouldn't behave like that would it?
I will get tested down the road for both to ease my mind, but I just wanted your perspective on this. Thanks again.
I had a regrettable experience with a sex worker 54 days ago. It was protected sex ( vaginal and oral). I'm now worrying if I have herpes. Last week, my throat ached and found a blister under my tongue. Yesterday, I found another blister on the top of my lip which I squeezed. I don't have any lesions on my genitals. Is it possible to have oral hsv 2 just with vaginal sex without oral sex and kissing? Thanks I've been worrying so much about this.
I have a blister inside my upper lip and it has blistered, burst, healed, blistered, burst, healed etc. for a year and a half now. The healing only lasts for a single day. In one week it will have gone through two cycles. It is painful to brush my teeth and sometimes to eat and I have to avoid drinks that are citric. I have been to the doctor several times and three months ago he finally took a good look with a light and saw it. He promised to refer me to a specialist but nothing has happened.
i've had a small white "blister" on my bottom lip for about a month. i've had a cold sore in the past--plenty actually--but this is different; it's not oozing, it's not inflamed, it didn't start out as tiny blisters. what could this be? shamefully, i smoke (less than a pack a week, but still) and i was wondering if this could be related to that?
t happen now are chest infection type stuff, sunburn like rash (but feeling of burning skin does), lip blister, extremely sore throat seems to have stopped recurring too.
But after 4 months I tested negative on herpes blood tests. I am still convinced I have herpes, but looking for other options as it has been mentioned that ebv can cause similar symptoms. So does anyone have any input in my situation? Anything at all would be great. Thanks.
I have a red patch on my upper lip that is red, dry, but no blister and does not itch. It burns when I get somethign acidic on it. I noticed that I had a blister under my tongue a few day ago. My upper lip feels a bit tight, like after getting windburn. I did have a scab over the area, like a layer of soft skin. I'm 51 years old, female.
About 2 months ago I got a red blood blister on my bottom lip, a month went by and I didnt really think too much about it and left it.....after that it was annoying me and I decided that my best option would be to pop the blister to get rid of it. I know now that this was a very bad decision!! The blister formed into a scab which bled a couple more times when I caught the scab....it looked very unsightly and my friend advised the best thing to do is put on some blistex.
So last Thursday (a week ago) I woke up with one small blister on my bottom lip ALMOST on the inner part (very close but not quite). So I treated it as a cold sore (I hardly ever get them and this was in a spot I’ve never had one before. But my sister and mom already both had a cold sore. I’m very careful about not sharing anything but who knows someone could have taken a sip of my water or something).
The blister started under the skin on my lip and stayed very small and turned into a very small blister. Not normal for me but I guess the tablets suppressed it.
My concern is that on Wednesday evening I went to kiss my 5 year old daughter good night on the forehead so as to not risk transmission but she moved and I kissed her eye. My lips touched her briefly (1 second at most). She told me my lip touched her about on inch below the eye but I cannot be certain.
OK... so I preface this by saying I knowingly did something VERY stupid.
48 hours ago, I made out with someone who had a cold sore scab on their lip. I didn't kiss the scab directly (it was in the far right side of the upper lip).
OK, ok... now, I know there is a very real risk that I will end up with oral herpes because of this. My question is this: Is there any chance I may NOT end up with it? Or is it pretty much a done deal?
I already have HSV2.

i a woman who performed unprotected oral sex on a man, and exactly two days later i woke up with a cold sore on my lip and a small blister right below my bottom lip and a sore throat that feel like a mild case of strep throat. and exactly two days after receiving the blister it bust, but i still have the cold sore and sore throat four days after the encounter. should i go to the doctor or emergency room? and what do it sound like i could have?
