Hi, further to my previous question about an encounter with a Thai csw I would value your advice. I asked the doctors but it seems my post was deleted and I don't know why, so I am asking here.
I did urine tests and was negative for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. However there was gram positive cocci (few) present which the doctor has given me antibiotics for.
Obviously given the context of all of this I am quite scared again.
The gram positive cocci is most likely normal bacteria that is present in the area where the swab was collected. Unless the doctor said you had an infection with a particular bacteria, it sounds like skin bacteria. He would have given you an antibiotic if he thought was abnormal. gram positive cocci normally live on skin and in various body sites. If you have further problems such as a very high fever I wouldn't worry about it.
As I browsed the net and read some articles, I have learned that gonorrhea is not gram positive cocci, it is gram negative. Prior to my sexual contact, I experienced a little similar to that like a little difficulty in urinating because I don't drink much water and I took a lot of supplements in the gym like creatine wherein I only learned lately that it can affect your kidneys or can cause UTI.
The results were positive for gram positive cocci moderate and a few PMNs. The urologist issued me a script for amoxicillion 2 tablets a day for a week. He also had a urinalysis done which was clear, a. I got my stool test done and it shows that I have gram negative bacilli and gram positive cocci bacteria. I read that gram positive cocci is associated with gonorrhea.

1) I have had this problem since 6+ weeks now, so if I have gonorrhea since so much time, how much would it have spread in the body
2) Will it be treatable? And how much time should the treatment take?
3) What test should I do to detect Gonorrhea?
4) Can I have any other STD?
swab culture shows “moderate gram positive Cocci with few plymer cells”. lab report not show type of gram cocci.

I am an asian and got into a sexual relationship with an unkown girl who claimed to be not having any STD or HIV at all. We had unprotected sex about 8 weeks back and then we got into the protected sex with condoms on for about 5-6 times in this duration.
Last week I got some itching in my penis and foreskin was getting tight but I didn't take it seriously. The next day, we had sex with condom on but then the foreskin didn't come back to its original position at all.

Still persistance of my sysmptoms (itching, burning), I approached another doctor who tested me for pelvic smear and I was caught with gram-positive cocci and doctor first gave me ceftriaxone i.v. ig for 7days and again for persistance of symptoms, doctor gave me cipro500 for 21 days and just now I finished. But still I feel the symptoms mildly. please advise me.
Fully agree with Vance. I have personally got a false positive for Gonno. I knew it wasn't possible and demanded my samples were retested. Negative as I thought. A gam stain btw will only indicate whether it's a gram positive or negative strain of bacteria - not the type for the want of a more complicated explanation. Need pcr for that and as I've just told you, that can even be non specific.......

Upon seeing the tests the doctor prescribed me Clotrimazole mouth paint, Azithromicin 500 mg for 3 days and Fluconazole 150 mg on alternate days.
It has been 5 days since i have been taking the prescription but there is no visible changes in the throat infection. Infact my tongue and palate has turned numb due to the constant use of mouth paint.
