Around 4 weeks later I developed a minor case of epididymitis confirmed by ultrasound, the doctor in the ER gave me 1 gram azithromycin and a shot of ceftriaxone. I went to a urologist the following day who said it looked to him like a non-infectious epididmytis but he prescribed me Levaquin 500 mg PO QD x 7 days just incase to cover possible enteric organisms.

Yes, tests were negative, but I was on antibiotics, at the time of the tests, will stds show up after being on antibiotics, also 2 weeks after having sex unprotected sex with a stranger.
My prior medical history is gastroparesis (of unknown etiology) and was just recently treated for a sinus infection with Levaquin 750 mg for 5 days. I was also very nauseous and dizzy today for several hours. Had a vague pain behind my eyes. Any thoughts?
has to be the levaquin, i am in good health and the only thing added was the levaquin and then cannot walk on rt leg! Dr. ordered crutches for me to keep weight off leg and let it heal and naproxin but i'll use advil or motrin for inflammation. Hoping I recover quickly from this event. I was confused because I knew that nothing got near the tip of my penis except massage lotion. I took some old cefixime, I think a gram, and then 6 days of old doxy, 100 mg twice a day. Still didn't feel normal so after the doxy I took 6 days of levaquin. 500mg per day. At 24 days I did a 10 panel std test. All negative. At 4 weeks I saw a urologist. He examined me and checked my prostate and said everything was normal. 5 weeks after the encounter my throat felt swollen inside.

I was given Levaquin 750mg qd for 5 days. I am almost 67 years old. Soon after the Levaquin, I developed Neuroathy in both of my feet. My neurologist was surprised, and ordered all types of diagnostic lab work to seek an answer. All labs were either wnl or negative. Do you have any suggestioons for treatment or an answer to how long this will continue to occur.
I am a retired hospital pharmacist, and the neuropathy is disableing me.
