Hi,
My Student Industrial Team and I have come up with a device that relieves knee pain for those with runner's knee and the elderly as well. It utilizes pressure plates on the sides of the knee that help to stabilize and decrease the pain. What's your take?
My Sport’s Ortho said that the swelling was common with the torn cartilage but should go down in time. I began searching on the Web for a magical pain relief remedy (other than my already supplementation of Glucosamine Sulfate, Chondrotin, Taurine, Collagen, HA, Cats Claw, Bromelain, MSM, etc., etc., etc….all of which I have been taking for years due to 27 yrs of cycling….but at almost 68yo, something had to give).
Older woman here, developed knee pain 2 months ago. It thankfully went away, but then about a week ago started hurting again, this time in different location, just to the left and medial of my knee cap. Every step is excruciating, only way to describe it. Guess I have meniscus tear? But has anyone experienced this type of horrible pain with Every Step? If so did you find a remedy?
While waiting for your dr. appointment, have you taken an x-ray to see if there's noticable damage? In the meantime, there may be a natural remedy for relief; it's helped my torn cartilage and arthritis in my left knee... no pain, no swelling...

Call it what you wish, Voodoo, Witchcraft, ‘BS’, whatever….but it DID work for me.
If I sit on a chair for a few minutes, then attempt to move my right knee, or stand up, I will experience excruciating pain all along my joint. It's mostly under my kneecap. My left knee is perfectly fine. The thing is, though, that it isn't because of long periods of inactivity. If I wake up in the morning and sit on a chair for only a few minutes, the pain will be just as bad as it would be during the rest of the day.
hi my mother in law is suffering from severe lower back pain along with knee pain since last two to three years she also has low count of haemoglobin.she is not able to resist any kind of medicine her daily diet is also very low.Iis there any kind of home treatment or remedy to solve this problem plz let me know...
MSM is an herbal remedy. Methylsulfonylmethane. It is for joint pain/support, but it also helps regrow hair and is good for asthma, arthritis, allergies and Fibromyalgia. Some people claim that it helps with headaches and heartburn.
Doesn't help my heartburn - but does help me with the inflammation from Fibromyalgia.
Joint pain in relation to withdrawal? Id say yes. It was for me. My joints ACHED - ankle joints, knee joints, hip joints - all the "connecting" parts. I think the best remedy is hot baths, hot showers, jaccuzzi, hot towels. Also, believe it or not, exercise helps. For me when I was in acute withdrawal and had the most pain, I did get relief from brisk walks.. the relief didnt last, but helped for a bit. It was basically - 30 minute walk; 30 minute hot shower.
My dog has a bad knee in the back left.Our vet says he needs surgery.But We can't afford it.I am on disablity and my son is my cargiver.And the state doesn't pay much.But he is sick with liver and kidney trouble.And he can't do regular work right now. Our vet gave us rimdyl but it puts him to sleep all the time and he wouldn't eat or drink.She said we could get more if we wanted at 5 pills for $8.00.

If you can only run for 20 minutes at a fast clip without pain, do that. When you have pain like that, you probably have inflammation and a remedy for that is simply taking ibuprofen. It will decrease internal swelling. So, you could try it before you run if you are having a training session that you know will require sprinting. They call look at all sorts of other things like the shoes you wear, how your muscles are strength wise and how you strike your foot.
When I bend the knee beyond 90 degrees I have a sharp pain on the lateral side of the knee cap. I have tried to be positive, but I don't see things getting better. It is very frustrating since I too thought things would be better than when I went in for the partials. It is like I have a tourniquet wrapped around my leg just below my knee. I ice every night and even heat pack for relief. I have tried five different PT's with not one knowing finding the answer.
Are you still numb? I have a nerve injury in a knee that left my knee numb. (Don't try Bengay or anything like that it'll be very painful!) I've lived with this for over a year. I experience burning or a cold water drop when I'm lying down. Wish I knew how to remedy it or what it is. I've just been living with it.
MY ATTITUDE IS GOOD FOR QUITTING THIS NONSENSE, I JUST NEED TO GET THROUGH THIS PAIN. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL LAST APPROXIMATELY??
Hello, I posted a question earlier but am not sure if it is here, so forgive me if there are two posts. I am having pain in my left foot, calf, knee and thigh. I have some discomfort when walking around, but the pain becomes worse when I lie down to go to sleep. I do not notice any discoloration or excessive warmth in these areas. I have had sciatica in the past on my right side. Any ideas what this could be?

My boyfriend had knee surgery and was given a epidural. Its been 8 weeks and he cannot get an erection. He knee is still swollen and part of his thigh and leg is still numb. Can the erectile dysfunction be reversed? He had no prior issue with this before.

Then pain presented in my right knee. I was told it was bursitis and was advised to take over-the-counter pain relievers. I chose Motrin because I had good success with it during a toothache.
When the pain reliever didn't relieve the pain, I had a session with an acupuncturist. That also did not relieve the pain. I then met with an orthopedic P.A. who showed me the x-ray film, pointing out two little bone spurs on either side of the knee cap, an indication of arthritis.
Hi there, i am having problems lately with pains, it all started with my lower left side of my back hurting which has been this way for over a week, last 4 days, it seems to be wanting to hurt other places, my knee and left leg, seems to be constantly hurting now, my left arm sometimes, my stomach on the right side sometimes, i have dizzy spells and sometimes my heart races a lot and having issues with using bathroom, not being able to go...
I don't know why my knee pain is still lingering on. I have been babying my knee for about 2 years now to no avail. I have gone through physical rehab to strengthen my hip and my knee. Every time I bend my knee passed a certain depth I feel it catch and pop in its groove. It is a very light feeling, but it causes pain in the anterior region of my knee. I used to be able to squat, jump, run and everything but now I cant really do much and it is super depressing.
