For me, I'd get pings and pangs in my kidney as well as microhematuria (blood you cannot see by eye) in my urine when I have stones. I've also had the flank pain you describe .. for me it's been in the lower back. I hope with lots of water your stones move out for you uneveventfully.

I am new to kidney stones. I passed my first kidney stone about 2 months ago and I know I have two more. A 2mm on one side and a 4 on the other side. The first one I had happened at night, so I woke up in pain. I am just wondering is there symptoms you can feel when you are awake. Just 4 days ago, I had 4 very sharp pains in the right side my back over a 2 hour period. Today I am hit with a wave of nausea.

Sore tummy, headaches and dizziness can be due to many causes like anxiety, gastritis,food intolerance, stress etc.Kidney stones will cause symptoms like burning urination,haematuria,pain in flanks and there may also be fever at times. It is suggested to take light food .Avoid fried spicy foods. Drink plenty of water and avoid stress. If the symptoms are severe and persistent a clinical examination may be necessary. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause. Keep me posted.

Oh god, kidney stones are just awful, aren't they? After someone stops a long term addiction they have inactive receptors that can easily be "woken up" and quickly put you back where you started, so I think it is possible for you to have withdrawals even though you took the pills for a short time. But on the other hand, only 14 pills stretched out over 5 days seems unlikely to cause you a big problem.

Since the kindey stone is 7 mm, so the symptoms seem unrelated to the kidney stones. Since you are having pedal or leg edema, hence your cardiac, liver and kidney functions need to be assessed for which I suggest you to consult a physician immediately. Abdominal causes like irritable bowel syndrome can also cause such symptoms. Common symptoms include abdominal cramping or pain, bloating and gassiness, and altered bowel habits(alternate constipation and loose stools).
I have had blood in my urine for 2 months now and I have had stomach cramps similar to menstrual cramps lately. I also have a history of kidney stones. I go next week for my cat scan and see if I have stones or something that may show up. I am worried but I always do, but this time I haven't been in pain like I was the other times I had stones it just seems different. I also worried about Bladder cancer or kidney cancer, but the symptoms doesn't exactly fit there either.
About three weeks ago I started to have some painful urination. I quickly noticed i was passing small seed like things in my urine. This happen once before last december and I went to tge ER. They didnt find any blood in my urine and discharged me without doing anything else. Those went away after a few days. This times they didnt going away so i went to my uni doc. I have a male friend who's been dealin w/ kidney stones for about a year quite now. He's on medi-cal in CA & he's not gettin anywhere w/ doctor's. He's been waitin for 1 mo. now for a referral to see a specialist & in the mean time his symptoms seems to be gettin more serious.
As you have had/still have calcium oxalate stones, your risk of getting more kidney stones is much increased. Avoid the foods mentioned and browse the web for more information on oxalate rich foods that you should avoid or eat less of. It is also very important to always stay well hydrated. Your urologist may have advised you to drink 2 litres of fluids (4 pints) during the day, more if you are doing exercises that make you sweat or perspiring in hot weather.
For kidney stones or ureteric stones,depending on the size of stone,the treatment is planned.I would suggest you to get an ultrasound lower abdomen done.Also drink plenty of water and other fluids like cranberry juice.Small stones can pass as such but for larger ones,treatment is needed. Hi everyone... Okay,so for the 7th time this year I have kidney stones again - I am a 20yr old female (and I live a healthy life) ... Doc put a stent in my right ureter cause my kidney is PACKED with stones! I had a UTI but that was treated in hospital when the stent was inserted... I am battling with my period,its like it just ran away or something... Can it just disappear? Like for 2months or longer?
