what ever happened with your jaw alignment problem?? because 2 months after my bottom wisdom tooth removals my jaw looks very uneven and still i have pain and numbness around the area of the removal. i have yet to get an x ray of my jaw but had x rays of the area where the removal took place. im just confused and dont know what to do.

But I probably only had pain twice whenh they were coming through, then after that I had no pain at all again. Since getting them out I feel my face suck in when I swallow or eat, I keep biting (& cutting) the inside of my cheeks & Iam feeling numbness on one side of my face.

7 years ago I was eating and bit down on my right side. A RADIATING pain shot through my jaw. I went to the dentist and had an x-ray taken. I went to the dentist recently and dentist said that I had some decay on my wisdom teeth and that he wanted to pull them to stop infection and spreading he sent me to get an opg xray (I think that's what it's called) and when I went back he told me I had a really bad infection under the tooth in front of my bottom right wisdom tooth and it would need root canal treatment as the infection is really close to the jaw bone...

A week has gone by from all four impacted wisdom teeth were surgically removed. My jaw on the right side feels like it is locked. I can only open my jaw 1 inch. Assuming you are referring to trismus after lower wisdom teeth revoval. Trismus may last 2-3 days after surgical procedure of lower wisdom teeth removal. If appropriate antibiotics is administered, trismus tends to resolve after 3 days.

I have been on amoxicillan before having the wisdom tooth removed and right after and then on penicillan after the extraction of my molar next to that. I have stitches and I think my muscles in my gums are what is aching from the suitures. I take motrin every 6 hours and am trying to gradually reduce the amount of motrin I take to reduce the pain. I am presently doing 400mg every 6 hours. I think that once the suitures are removed maybe the pain will calm down.

for this he gave me brufen 200mg, amoxicilin 500mg and flagyl 400mg, but still im havig sever pain in my lower left jaw where my wisdom tooth was extracted. when i met my doctor to remove the stiches i complained about my situataion, he said its normal as for the bone beeing drilled.

cuz I thought I was just making that up in my head. Does anyone out there have problems with the lower jaw pain and the tooth and gum pain? With all of them added up...I'm pretty sure I'm going to have this permantly. I would've rather just had the infections every few months or avoided brushing back there. I even told the dr that when he said that there was a possibility of this complication...but then I caved when he said that it needed to be done. ugggh.

Syetemic administration of antibiotics is helpful for managing post-op infection of wisdom tooth removal. Seeing your dentist is advised.
