how do i relieve a toothache ???? do you know of any over the counter or home remedy that works...besides orajel..aspirin or tylenol we tried them all. my appointment is not till saturday .... apparently the dentist is overly booked....HELPPPPPPPPPPPP...
I've found that ibuprofen + codeine to be okay for toothache as a stop-gap. Having had lower esophageal sphincter spasms so bad that it's been an ambulance trip to ER, I'd rate toothache at somewhat annoying by comparison, and a really shocking tension headache somewhere in between. And that's not to belittle anyone with a toothache - it's the waiting, waiting, waiting to get in to see the dentist, oh I hate that part too!
I've been taking suboxone and have run out. I have a bad toothache and have some vicodine, would that be effective until I get this tooth worked on. I will have my suboxone on Monday again.
If so, my husband says that you can take a paracetomol/ibuprofen combo pill available at Boots or any other pharmacy near you! Hope this helps! Don't do the mouthwash for now, it may only irritate your tooth further!
Hi last monday I had a toothache and took quite a few painkillers (ibuprofen mainly) and ever since I have been pooping blood, and last night I had what seemed to be a panic attack (unable to speak, rapid heartbeat, struggling to breathe) and now this afternoon my right eye bag has swollen and hurts every time I blink or close my eyes. Could all these thing be linked or are they separate matters? And should I consult medical advice or see if it all calms down?
Ibuprofen is actually better for toothache pain. My dentist recommends 600 mgs (3 of the 200 mg tablets) every 6 hrs. The liquid gels work more quickly so they're worth the extra couple bucks to me. Hopefully that will help get him through the weekend until he can see a dentist. Toothaches are awful; I hope he feels better soon!
Last night and I still have it was the worst night possible! I was up till 4 in the morning bawling cause my tooth hurt so bad. I only took 500mg of ibuprofen so I wouldn't hurt my baby I used a whole tube of oragel I tried putting a hot rag on my face. Nothing is working! Maybe you ladies know something that I can do to make it go away?
I woke up with a blinding toothache. I have had a broken tooth for a while but since I was taking so many drugs, it never hurt, but wow is it hurting now. I have a dentist appt. this afternoon and for the first time in years I'm not trying to figure out how I can score drugs from the dentist. I am actually looking forward to telling him that I wont be needing narcotic pain meds, just ibuprofen!!!

About a week ago I started getting a toothache in my 2nd molar, upper right side. This particular tooth has had some problems (bad cavity, which was filled). Anyway, I went to the dentist and he said there was another cavity and he would fill it in a couple of weeks but there was a possibility it wouldn't work and the tooth would have to be extracted or i would need RCT.
i have dental cavity problem. i feel some time pain whenever i eat hot or cold things but just for few seconds. plz suggest some medicine to overcome the problem.
im on 400 mg tegretol 7 pills per day...im currently suffering from a bad toothache thats making my ear hurt so badly...i also take 10mg ocxycodone for my back pain.. can tegretol help stop this toothache my ear pain??
Hi there, for me it started when i lose my voice (not competely) but no pain in the throat area. then area around my left jaw joint area (below the ear) starts to feel uncomfortable especially every time i moved my jaw or open my mouth wide to eat something. i dont have toothache etc. then i start to have running nose and nose block. i went to see a GP, he say there is slight infection in the ear and nose. i was on medication for 6 days.

Of course, it didn't bleed when I performed the cunnilingus.
When you go in for your next visit, ask for numbing shot, inform your dentist about this pain, and if possible, ask if antibiotics is gonna help.
I am on a wait and see method too. If by Tues, my pain is still here, I am gonna take antibiotics. I guess if it is still painful after antibiotics, I will just opt for extraction (there goes my 1ksgd) but I guess sometimes things just happened without any explanation.
