how does metrogel work

Quite annoying. I am hoping that continued use with this metrogel is going to work significantly over a months use. I read it takes one-two months for the metrogel to really work when it comes to the periocular dermatitis under the eye. Not sure if thats true.

I have seen improvement but am still not 100 percent clear, about 98 percent clear I would say. How long do I need to continue to use the metrogel to keep the dermatitis away for good? 2 months? Not sure how long I should use it. Also, I was on doxycycline however it upsets my stomach (with or without food) so I have to call my doctor on monday to try a different antibiotic. Anything you reccomend as far as an antibiotic?

t use Metrogel. So my doctor has now prescribed Cipro. But how would either one help with the vaginosis? And as for the bladder infection, couldn't I just take one because they both treat UTIs?

I've been using metrogel for a few months now for a place on my cheek. It's finally clearing up, but my entire face was scratched up today, including the area I typically treat with metrogel. Is the metrogel safe to use on fresh scratches and sores to continue treatment. If so, would it be good to also put the metrogel on my entire face to help with all the scratch marks?

Hi everyone...Recently I have been having several problems with the skin on my face. Up until about a year ago I had absolutely flawless skin. I'm 22 years old and live in Florida and used to go tanning alot but stopped about a year and a half ago. It started when I went on the birth control-nuva ring for ovarian cysts about 5 months ago and recently changed to yaz and have seen no difference.

The NP precribed metrogel for 5 days at bedtime. I havent found the courage to take it yet, because its inserted vaginally. The warning states its a category B and can be passed through the placenta. Has anyone else taken metrogel during their pregnancy? If so wad everything ok?

I thought you could only take metrogel instead of flagyl while pregnant. I think i read that.

Have seen two dermatologists so far but the condition did not improve. He was given topical metrogel 1% which did not work and the 2nd dermatologist put him on antibiotics for 3 months! nothing worked and wondering what other options he has.

When I get out of the shower or overheated, I have a pink spot on the skin just above my upper lip, touching the lip line. It's approx. 2 cm long by 1/4th cm high. There's also a tingling sensation at times. The skin there looks slightly different but I'm 62 and have had age spots burned off in my hairline, etc. I am female, never smoked, don't drink and have never had a cold sore or tested positive for HPV. I do not sunbathe but grew up in the south.

So I have to put a hot rag on my eyes twice and day and clean them with eye lid wipes. I am frustrated with not ever having good skin. But the Finacea does work especially on my nose. Any ideas?

I was tested positive for HIV this February. I have been an occasional user of MDMA via syringe. I tested negative for Hepatitis B and C. During the first week of June, I suddenly came down with a fever which wouldn't go away. Later the doctors found a lesion on my liver, for which I was treated with Metronidazole (Metrogel) injections, and later metrogel tablets. Recent CT scan shows "a cystic lesion on the liver, measuring 4x3.5 cms with a smooth enhancing wall seen in segment IV.

t hurt or itch it is just more pink than the other leg. Does anyone know why. Secondly, now I have some very very itchy tiny red bumps on my face that I haven't yet shown the doctor. I have used the Clobetsol topical cortisone ointment on it and it goes away within about 2-3 days. It comes back about one a week or two. Is it bad to use the cortisone topical so often? I have 5 days till my due date and baby doesnt seem to want to come any time soon. The doctor said is I went to 41 weeks they would probably induce me. How exactly does that work? I thought it was just some kind of medicine they gave you through an IV but a friend said something about them sticking a needle up there. Im a little freaked out, could someone please explain it to me?
