weight

Avatar f tn That depends on your frame size, as well as your age. Your frame size is how large your bones are. Here's a bit of height weight chart, that pertains to your height, but only if you are an adult female. If you're not an adult, the figures would be different.
Avatar f tn Our daughter's height has been slowly dropping on her growth chart. Over the period of 2 years, she has gone from 95% down to 10%. The progression has been this: Birth: 95% 3 months: 50% 6 months: 45% 12 months: 25% 20 months: 15% 2 years: 10% She had serious health issues when born (two heart defects, heart failure, failure to thrive with weight) but these have all been resolved for over a year.
Avatar n tn No!!! I am 16 as well and though I don't know you, I know what you're going through (to a certain extent) I'm 5'9" and I weigh 180. Technically, I'm only partially overweight, according to the BMI chart. Anyway, I've had friends your height who weighed 90 pounds, and they get sick very easily, and when they get sick, it's bad. Your body will start to shut down because it cannot support itself. The average weight for your height is at least 110. At the very least.
Avatar f tn All babies are different depending on your weight and height also, they are only average. My little girl is 4 lbs 12 and were nearly 34 weeks.
Avatar f tn Just took a quick look at height/weight chart - you are NOT overweight - even if you have a small frame. If you can maintain where you are, that would be ok. Don't lose too much or you will be unhealthy. There are some websites you can go to that will give you the number of calories you need daily. spark people is a good one; live strong is another. You can also do a search for height/weight charts to get an idea of where your weight should fall. Good luck and keep posting.

Avatar n tn Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'6" 120-133 130-144 140-159 You are not overweight and if you are comfortable with the way you look, you'll be fine. If you become too much more underweight, you won't be healthy........and you don't want your parent's attitudes to cause you to end up with an eating disorder.
Avatar f tn Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'9" 129-142 139-153 149-170 As you can see, you're already borderline underweight, if you have a small frame, and severely underweight if you have a large frame. Chocolate is actually good for you; opt for the dark chocolate, rather than milk chocolate, which is full of sugar.
Avatar f tn Lol!! I thought I was the Only one... While on some books and articles says Im doing fine and so my doctor, this app Keeps telling me "excessive weight gain"... They should consider you height at least...
2095187 tn?1333091434 Your weight is actually low for your age and if you want to grow taller, please do not go on a diet to lose weight. The average weight for your age and height is 115 pounds. If you think you look fat, then I would exercise as it is a way to tone muscles instead of dieting to lose weight. I don't think you are fat. Aubryana is right now the same size Elijah was at 4 months and she's almost 9 months. Do I just have a little baby girl, or is she gonna start growing more as she gets older? I'm so used to Mr Giant.
Avatar f tn 5"7'=67 inches overall. According to the BMI chart, 143 lbs. is normal. If you were over 153 lbs, you'd be overwieght. If you were over 185 lbs, you'd be obese. If you were over 249 lbs, you'd be extremely obese. You're only 13, you shouldn't be worried about your weight unless you're in the obese range.
Avatar f tn I hate some of these doctors. I lost 15 lbs and u am now 24 wka preggo and weight loss and pregnancy runs in my fam. Once ur not starving yourself etc don't worry. My baby has the weight and i don't. Doctors talk about bmi etc. i hate that crap, no " weight" chart can possibly tell me i am under weight or over weight. My sister had a 3 month looking belly at 9 months and baby weighed 7 lbs. If u listen to everything these american doc say then u will go nuts.

Make a diet chart with protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals and 500 calories required for your age and height. Then follow your schedule strictly for some months and you will lose the desired weight. Do in under an instructor initially then you can step up the pedal. Take care!

Avatar f tn Is anyone else having trouble keeping weight on? The most I've gained is about 8 lbs and now I'm down to 6!
377493 tn?1356502149 32 inches tall, and about 24 lbs. His weight is more explainable given the lengthy rotavirus, but the height is concerning. My husband and I are both about 6', so it seems odd he would be short. I was under the impression he was tall until I read up on average heights for his age. He does see his Pediatrician fairly regularly and she hasn't expressed concern as he was following and even increasing his curve, but I still worry.
Avatar f tn I set small goals and trying to imagine losing 165 pounds was too daunting. I have lost 146 pounds to date and have set goals of 2 lbs, 3 lbs, 5 lbs and 10 lbs along the way. I never thought of losing all the weight, I focused only on those small goals, celebrated my achievement upon reaching it and then set another small goal. It is not shocking to think of the total weight loss because it never seemed like more than 2-10 lbs! The food journal is KEY as is the support here on the site.
