Common Questions and Answers about Weight chart for females by age and height

weight

Avatar n tn Technically, I'm only partially overweight, according to the BMI chart. Anyway, I've had friends your height who weighed 90 pounds, and they get sick very easily, and when they get sick, it's bad. Your body will start to shut down because it cannot support itself. The average weight for your height is at least 110. At the very least. Remember that you are wonderfully made, and that you are beautiful! 90 pounds is sick, not healthy, and healthy is beautiful.
Avatar m tn Dear Eshan95: I apologize for the delayed response. By definition, a person with slow growth and short stature is defined as height below the 3rd percentile for age, growth rate <10th percentile for bone age, predicted height differ significantly from parental height, or abnormal body proportion. This definition is taken from "Short Stature in Childhood - Challenges and Choices" by Dr. David Allen and Dr.

Avatar n tn What I have found is that in some people, undiagnosed celiac will cause them to lose weight and for others, they gain weight. If you not familiar with what celiac is, its an allergy to gluten (wheat, barley, rye, etc.). If you have this and eat anything with gluten, you kill off the villi in your intestines which cause you bosy not to absord any nutrients - therefore causing many other health issues.
Avatar m tn I'm not on any medication other than lanzoprazil for acid reflux and st. John's Wort. I have trouble sleeping and sometimes take temazapam, grind my teeth, and have ongoing sinus problems, for which I was using nasal decongestants, until I read that they often have cortisol in them, which can cause CSR, and possibly the other problem. I've also heard coffee and chocolate can affect CSR.
Avatar n tn I have had this pain off and on for 3 years now. I have been tested for endometriosis and other STD's. All negative. My GYN has come to the conclusion that i have cysts on my overies and it is just the leakage that is causing the cramping and pain. That may be true, but why does my anus hurt? I feel like i am being stabbed with a knife! I went through child labor with no meds and this is comparable.

Avatar n tn From my understanding of the 9 gadzillion websites out there, most reputable like Mayo Clinic and so on, the criteria for being nailed with MS is pretty clear, and requires events separated by time and space.

Avatar n tn My job requires me to be behind a desk for most of the work day, which leads me to believe that this might be the source of my problem. Since I have no insurance and cannot afford regular health car, and don't qualify for public assistance, my best bet is asking around. In doing so, I have been advised that if it is indeed a possible "developing" clot, that I should take vitamin E and some garlic. In other words, blood thinners.
393685 tn?1425816122 I was Googling for calcium in urine and it brought me to this forum and what's coincidental is that I use the Tracker for Fibromyalgia and and autoimmune disease I have. Right now I have Hyperparathyroidism and will probably be having a parathyroidectomy in about 3 weeks. I have heart disease which resulted in a triple bypass in 07, hypothyroidism, CREST(a less aggressive form of scleroderma), fibromyalgia, controlled hypertension and thats the bulk of it.
Avatar n tn I am a personal trainer and obsessed with health and fitness and still cannot find a reason for cardio making me sick. I can weight train for hours if I wanted...Circuit style, PHA, or just supersets and no sickness...You put me on a treadmill, bike, elliptical, or stair climber and I have flu like symptoms the next day! I Drink tons of water and water mixed with G2 throughout the day probably equal to a gallon or more so I know that I am well hydrated.
Avatar n tn You have mentioned a few thing's that are important for me to point out. First off we are both of similar age and i also got prescribed androgel. The problem is when you take Androgel it can (and almost does) shut down your own natural production (HPTA supression), so it dosen't work in a "suppliment" like fashion. In the long term this can have a negative effect on fertility and testicular size and can sometimes cause irreversible tissue and cell changes to occur in the testicles.
Avatar f tn I did mention that it is sore and uncomfortable when I wear wired bra. He did say that I need to take 3 weeks off and I cannot lift any weight for that period. My baby is only 1. It is going to be hard. He did mention that losing weight will help me because I have fat tissue with breast tissue. I am so nervous about this. My family members except my husband of course do not know I have a problem like this and I am very shy to tell them about this.
162948 tn?1205256292 Hi, Angie - there's nothing wrong with the Mirena for most women. I had mine for two years and took it out only because my BF and I are trying to have a baby. The Mirena was the best birth control I ever had in my life! This is also true of several of my friends. You can technically conceive immediately after the removal, but it may take a little longer than that. Much less time than w/the pill, though. Hang in there.
1647691 tn?1363727302 I specificaly asked him if it was worth trying again for us and he said absolutely. He strongly believes that IVF will work for my DH and I, and he reassured us that it takes most couples 2-3 times of IVF before it works. He was also optimisitc about the FET. He says the embryo that we froze actually ended up being the best one. He said it has about an 85% chance of surviving the thawing process (much better than I thought).
Avatar n tn At about the age of 8 I talked to my pediatrician about it and he promptly told me it was not possible. That I was having anything "pop out" in my neck. He contended that there wasn't anything there that could pop out. So I just continued to push it back into place whenever it popped out. Back then, it was very easy to push back and only lasted a few seconds until I got it back.
Avatar n tn Pudendal nerve entrapment is commonly overlooked, as are many complaints made by females. I finally got treated and had pudendal neurosurgery by Dr. Lee Ansell in Houston, TX after decades of pudendal and sciatic pain and piriformis syndrome. European docs have been doing the surgery much longer. US docs are coming on board super-slowly. Dr. James Campbell, Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon, also good with these problems.
Avatar f tn Blood tests suggest autoimmune disfunction (positive ana, antithyroid antibodies, high IgG for parvovirus and EBV and CMV without being conclusive of connective tissue or thyroid disease. A cone beam ct scan revealed an inflammatory process in the sinus above the implant and apical periodontal inflammation on the tooth behind the implant which was also giving me night fevers. I have since had the root canal retreated on the tooth that was being blamed for my mouth discomfort.
1294995 tn?1330666336 It all adds up to you getting closer to that sacred BFP. It took me FIVE rounds for it to finally work, and by that point I had given up it would even work for me. I stopped doing the OPK and just BD'd all month and prayed every night that God would answer my prayers for a baby.

Avatar n tn I cut most all sugars and a lot of fat from my diet to keep from gaining weight as I age, and I think that has actually hurt me some to, even though it is a healthier diet. I think my body is reluctant to steal energy from fat cells or something when it coems to sex. In any case, holding back on porn/masturbation seems to help.
Avatar n tn I'm a 60 year old men, in excellent health, except for experiencing tremors during sleep that wake me up and have difficulty going back to sleep. As I start to fall sleep again, I feel these "rumbleling" (tremors) around my upper body. I immediately wake up again. These tremors last for about 10-15 seconds after I wake up. The first time I experienced this condition was exactly two years ago. It lasted for about four days and it simply went away.
