Common Questions and Answers about Heartburn pregnancy pillow

heartburn

Avatar f tn t a very good masuse. Has anyone tried the leachco body pillow? It looks like it may work but I dont really wanna spend the $70 if it doesn't.
Avatar f tn Hi I am 35weeks pregnant and I have really bad heartburn at night time and every time I eat I feel so full that I can barely even move. I feel the baby moving really low in my pelvic area where I haven't felt him move since the beginning of my pregnancy. I toss and turn all night. Are any of these signs that I could have the baby early or is there anyway to tell?
Avatar f tn I also would second the notion that it might be a UTI. Also be sure it's not heartburn. It's a bit early for it, but heartburn in pregnancy can be unlike other heartburn.

Avatar f tn Towards the end of pregnancy I end up putting a boppie or small couch pillow under my stomach to help support the weight. If you have heartburn my friend swears by sleeping upright with a bunch of pillows behind her.
Avatar f tn Ooo wee I feel bad for you, your gunna have a rough pregnancy. Definitely get a pregnancy pillow and maybe a heating pad for your back pain.
Avatar f tn This is my 3rd pregnancy. I finally got a pregnancy pillow which helps. Or When prego I actually sleep better on the coach. Your back is supported & you can prop yourself up. I'm 30 weeks now though & have not slept through the night since about 15 weeks. But it's unfortunately pretty normal.
4144586 tn?1352255685 Random thought. The heartburn is how I normally knew I was pregnant. My skin is more olive though, so my doctor recommended that I take a D3 supplement because my body doesn't create and utilize it well enough because of that reason. Anyway, if you are taking a D3 supplement, other your prenatal vitamins include it, if you take any kind of antacids like Tums, you will have serious side effects I read.
Avatar n tn re not suppressing your vena cava and its taking pressure off of your arm. Also, sleep with only your head an neck on the pillow. When I had heartburn and slept propped up with my shoulders on the pillow at all... It would make my arm numb too.
Avatar f tn I had a very rough time trying to sleep in early pregnancy. A pregnancy pillow made all the diffrence! I am 36+4 now and don't have to much trouble although for most women it gets harder to sleep.
Avatar f tn Nothing is helping. I had milk and ate bananas and my heartburn is still here keeping me up. Drinking water only makes it worse..
Avatar f tn Have u invested in a pregnancy pillow? If not try it. They are a little pricey but it was a godsend during pregnancy number 3. Since you don't have one now try the old pillow between the legs, cool dark room, warm bath before bed in lavender bubble bath(lavender promotes sleep). No caffine 3 hours before bed and eat something with a carbohydrates close to bed like crackers and milk. The carbs close to bed make you relax as well. Good luck.
Avatar f tn For heartburn i used the liquid off brand of maylocks at target and it worked great. I heard any of the liquid heartburn stuff works fine. For iching, it is probably dry skin which i had really bad. You need shea butter or coconut oil and rub on every morning and night. Hope that helps!

Avatar f tn Are any one of you ladies using a pregnancy pillow? If so is it helpful? What type are you using?
Avatar f tn s fine to sleep in whatever position you are still comfortable in, once sleeping on your tummy becomes uncomfortable I would definitely recommend a body pillow or pregnancy pillow they both work the same just tuck it under your leg and it'll keep you supported at a more comfortable angle.
Avatar f tn t have one but my back just started hurt what I do is use about 4 pillows at night to sleep.
Avatar f tn How expensive are pregnancy pillows normally?
Avatar f tn m currently only in my 7th week but im thinking about getting a pregnancy pillow to help me sleep because I find it difficult to lay on my tummy most nights as I'm bloated and sometimes nausea hits in middle of night just wondering if this pillow has helped you guys sleep? And if it helps when your a side sleeper so that u are more comfortable without laying on tummy ?
Avatar f tn Did any of you mom's get a pregnancy pillow? And if so which brand? My husband was thinking about just getting me 5 more pillows...
Avatar f tn lol! I do not have a pregnancy pillow, although you make it sound very comfortable. I've actually got a down feather body sized pillow, which helps somewhat for comfort to sleep, but I still have trouble getting the job done lol! I've found myself being up tossing and turning clear until 5 a.m.!
Avatar n tn I just use a body pillow, and its amazing, so I imagine a pregnancy pillow would be heaven as well!
