What no one seems to want you to know is, when the anesthetic and freeze wear off, you will probably be in a world of hurt. No amount of OTC med will even cut the severity of the pain. Speaking for myself, I had MN diagnosed by four DPMs, from December 2004 to December 2007. Beginning near the end of June 2008, the pain became acute. I assumed it was the MN. I spent days on end searching for a DPM who performs cryosurgery, within one day's drive of Knoxville, TN. One refused me.

t say for certain that they can keep that out of your records and I do understand you trying to keep it under wraps for your career. Most heart murmurs are benign but it does indeed sound like yours is a bit more of an issue. If you are dropping to the ground in pain I think it is time you see a doctor. I personally don't know much about murmurs and maybe someone will jump on who does but pain that bad should not be ignored.
