Ok so I had a miscarriage at 12 jan5,2016 since then I have had this odor every month around nature's call or during,i had went back to the dr he said a yeast infection. Two days after oral I started to itch and went to my gyn. I thought it was a yeast infection and I had a blister where a culture was taken from and was positive for hsv 1.
I have not coped well because since then my bf has left me. He tested and was negative but a week later after being tested had a visible blister on the corner of his mouth. My GYN told me its not a big deal that almost everyone has it and I am far less contagious than those who have oral hsv1. Is this true?
sorry guys if tmi. i got a yeast infection from a antibiotic just before i fell pregnant and fell pregnant while treating it with canestan 7 day cream. it didnt go away and it keeps getting worse. i have used the 7 day cream about 5 times now with no help only relief from the itching and painful sex for about 2 days after i finished the treatment. i have had it my entire pregnancy and im 18 weeks now.

You have a UTI. It's happened to me a few times. You will get these a few times. You cannot have sex while you have it. You need to tell your dr that you have one.
No a yeast infection is not an STD, it is simply a bacterial infection. If you go to the pharmacy ask them for medicine for a vaginal yeast infection...you can buy it over the counter and it will work in like 24hours. And eat lots of yogurt, it prevents the bad bacteria from growing that causes a yeast infection.
Am sexually active after marriage,last week I started experiencing vagina discomfort whereby I scratch it,I was given medication (Oral and insertion tablets) it stopped for a while, then reoccurred this time my clitoris became sore and very itchy. At times I feel like staying without an inner

It does sound like an infection. Douching will not make it go away. It can help the symptoms a little but if you truly have an infection it needs to be treated with a yeast infection medication. Or, if it's bacterial you will need to see a Dr for a prescription med.
I'm nervous about having the yeast infection turn, or be something bigger... I'm on birth control and have been for 2 years and I have have been having sex with the same partner for 5 months.. The past 2 months have been unprotected sex. I work out everyday and sometimes I do not wash my spandex, I do have well hygiene but not always when it comes to my work out clothes.
