If your partner has oral herpes - herpes type 1 - you can get that from oral
sex, and it becomes genital herpes type 1. If they have an oral
yeast infection, known as thrush, you can get that genitally.
Even using a condom, you can get genital herpes type 2. Condoms reduce the risk significantly, but don't eliminate it. If she has a genital yeast infection, you can get that from vaginal sex with a condom, if your skin comes into contact with skin that has yeast.
