I didn't have sex while I had symptoms obviously, but as far as having sex when I didn't know... hmmm. I think I had sex just before and then may have felt a little annoyed thinking his hygiene must have been the cause,but he had no problems from me. I think in the end it was probably the whole combination of hygeine (one or the other of us), sugar, and stress.
I didn't take any over the counter drugs.
yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, urinary tract infections are all very common during pregnancy. don't treat yourself! let your doctor diagnose.
I'm 36 weeks pregnant. I gotten alot of yeast infections during my pregnancy. probably around 4 , Ive just got treated for one but I believe I got another again.
Has anyone had multiple yeast/BV infections? I've had 3 so far and I think I'm having another! I'm going to ob tomorrow and I'm sure I'll get some meds. It's frustrating. Anyone Else?!?! Please help.
not all people pee after sex. sometimes its because a women may feel like she has to pee during sex because of the force. sometimes people just feel they have to pee..i think they say if you pee after sex you wont get a uti...
I believe they are common during pregnancy and yes your bf doing his business in there could be a factor... I don't get yeast infections but I get really irritated down there after sex.
i do have endo been diagnosis but im still having these yeast like infections everytime i go to the doctor they say i have an infection,give me meds,it never goes away completely...

Your wife probably does not understand the origins of yeast infections in women. They do not come from catching yeasts from their male sex partners. Women are naturally colonized with yeasts, usually in the intestines and often in the genital tract. When a woman gets a "yeast infection", it is usually not because she acquires yeast from her sex partner or anywhere else. The organism that is there all the time.

It's certainly possible that the pain you're having during sex could be caused, or at least made worse, by the anticipation that it's going to be painful. But it also sounds like you are having burning and pain during your period aside from during sex.
I still think it's possibly a contact-irritation thing, especially if your doctor said you don't have an infection.
Really appreciate it. Will have to cut on sugar. ANyone else with experiences having yeast infections and using terconazole during pregnancy?
I used to get yeast infections every time I had intercourse. The only way I was able to stop this from happening was by douching with a vinegar and water rinse right after having sex. It was a major inconvenience but it definitely stopped the ongoing yeast infections. And on those occasions when I was too "lazy" or "relaxed" to get up and douche, the infection would return without fail. A vinegar douche really does help, but it is a major "mood disrupter.
( I though, did have quite a few yeast infections during this pregnancy which made sex even more uncomfortable. My doc said this can be normal due to the changes of the vagina and the cervix. Now that my yeast is under control, and I am fully comfortable, my belly is too big! Lol! Hubby and I are excited for baby to come and sex to get back to normal.
It is probably another yeast infection. It is very common to get multiple yeast infections while pregnant, just for the simple fact that while you are pregnant your hormones are all out of whack. My cousin is a great example. With her first pregnancy, she pretty much had a yeast infection the whole time! No matter how many times she went to get it taken care of it kept coming back! Don't worry about it, it's normal. Just make sure that you keep getting them treated. Good luck!

Latly i been getting a lot of yeast infections i never had them before ....when my doctor gave me medicine it was a one day pill i had relief for two days then it came back so i baught a three day treatment from walgreens and its worked for a week or so and now.
I always get yeast infections after oral sex with my boyfriend. It hasnt always been like this but after the first time i got one they have always came back after oral. We got my boyfriend a diflucan to take but it didnt seem to help. what can i do to stop these other than stopping oral sex completely.
