sorry guys if tmi. i got a yeast infection from a antibiotic just before i fell pregnant and fell pregnant while treating it with canestan 7 day cream. it didnt go away and it keeps getting worse. i have used the 7 day cream about 5 times now with no help only relief from the itching and painful sex for about 2 days after i finished the treatment. i have had it my entire pregnancy and im 18 weeks now.

The original poster had a bacterial infection that's why she was in antibiotics. If you suspect a yeast infection you should see your Dr to make sure you are treating the proper thing. Antibiotics will not treat a yeast infection, they only treat bacterial infections. A yeast infection requires an antifungal.

I decided to purchase Monistat to clear the Yeast Infection but I decided to have sex with my boyfriend which was a little painful especially when I had to urinate afterwards, so I decided to purchase Monistat again...I dont a smell or discharge but my inner vulva feels some discomfort. I always feel moist down there although there is no discharge that I can see...When I urinate it doesnt burn so I am unsure of what I could have???

Do not resume sex for a few more days at least. You should not be having sex while you are both treating for genital issues.

The gynocologist said it looked like a tear, and didnt look like herpes. The day after (last saturday morning) i developed a yeast infection. No a yeast infection is not an STD, it is simply a bacterial infection. If you go to the pharmacy ask them for medicine for a vaginal yeast infection...you can buy it over the counter and it will work in like 24hours. And eat lots of yogurt, it prevents the bad bacteria from growing that causes a yeast infection.

I thought it was condom irritation... Turns out I have a yeast infection and have been treating it with Monistat 7.... You can also try extra virgin coconut oil and tea tree oil. Both helped for me, but the Monistat 7 seems to work better.
