This is a non-cancerous condition which results when portions of the breast gland grow abnormally large because of excessive sensitivity to estrogen (the female hormone) stimulation. Cancer usually appears as solid masses or calcified nodules, not cysts, which are fluid-containing lumps. Fibrocystic disease is not "normal", but it doesn't usually cause problems other than intermittent discomfort and pain particularly as menstruation approaches.
Should my body be making enough of its own estrogen so that taking off one patch would not make the estrogen level drop??? So bummed, I just want to get good news from now on and be able to quit worrying and start enjoying being pregnant. :(

I was told that usually women who have taken birth control pills show these changes in the liver (I guess due to increases in estrogen levels). But, I've never taken birth control pills and I am wondering why I have them. I was told that as long as they were not compromising the function of my liver to not worry about them and to have another ultrasound in 3 months. I'm not someone who just sits around and waits for something to get worse before doing something.
Hi my estrogen was low on 2nd day in this cycle (my lab results said lesser than 37) but my RE said that he wants low estrogen on 2nd day and that it will normally increase in the process. Apparently bad news is if you have high estrogen on day 2. I am in natural cycle IVF and my follicle has developed well and my uterus lining is good. I am having aspiration tomorrow - so it did not look like there was a problem even though estrogen was low on 2nd day. I hope all works well for you. Good luck.
I have gone through 2 failed rounds of Natural IVF where they don't give me any drugs and take my one naturally ovulated egg. Both times it produced an 8 cell grade 1 embryo. They transferred on day 3. They said they completely aspirate out the corpus luteum when they take the egg so the embryo is completely dependent on the hormones they give me after transfer (2mg of estrogen twice/day and progesterone twice/day) My estrogen was 244 the second round transfer day.

It sounds like a simple case of hemorrhoids and the good news is that in most cases the bleeding stops within 24-48 hours.
In other words, not a serious issue at all. Just monitor your BM , in the event something changes.

There's a chance you have Estrogen Dominance. To verify that you could ask for hormonal testing .
I broke down too yesterday and did a HPT, it was positive but then I had to keep in mind that I had the HCG booster last Friday. I had more labwork today and my estrogen is over 2000(good), progesterone over 20(good), and HCG is 293. That has me going crazy because Monday it was 86(3 days after booster so I thought it would be high). Normally the HCG should double every 2 days. Well, after 2 days mine more than doubled from the number I already thought should be high.
Yes, it's normal. The lower estrogen pills usually cause break through bleeding.
I will be turning 39 later in the year and am 153 pounds. This is the highest I've ever weighed other than when I was pregnant with my son at age 21 when I went up to 145 from 95 pounds. After pregnancy, I went back down to 110 pounds. Ever since I was in high school, my bra size has been 32B, again, except when I was pregnant when they went up to a 40D. After pregnancy I went back down to a 32C and have been that size since.
Whether or not to do chemotherapy depends on many factors including the size of the tumor, the histology (the way it looks under the microscope), estrogen and progesterone status, her2 neu status, etc. Basically, the purpose of chemotherapy is to reduce the risk of recurrence and/or metastasis. Often oncologists will estimate the risk of recurrence as well as the estimated benefit of chemotherapy and base recommendations on this.
