c last month and all was clear. Last week i had a swab test for Gon and a urine test for Chlamydia. The Gon test came back negative but the Chlamydia test was positive. The test was Chlamydia ELISA.
Given the advice on other posts this was the last thing i thought would be positive. My intention is to repeat the test next week before taking the doxy and telling my wife to get tested.
On 14th June 2008 I had done a HIV Screen test. The result was negetive. On 25th June I had a medical test in Dubai. I passed the medical test. HIV was not detected in my blood. After 8 weeks from the incident I had again HIV Screed Tested. Again teh result came out Negetive. But 9th week from the incident that means on 14th August 2008, I had little cough problem and neck pain. And also found black and brown marks (without any irritation) in arm and back side.
I had a test done I'm assuming an elisa. My doctor said it was negative. I just don't understand why I'm getting billed for a confirmation test which is a western bot after positive elisa? I always thought if you have a positive elisa, you are told by the Dr and have to get further testing through the western bot.
she wrote Urine for Elisa test. I gave Urine sample.. After ten min. they came out with report. On the microbiology report they worte Urine for Pregnancy : Positive (By Elisa Method).
I just back from the hospital ...right now am so much worried and tensed...Yesterday i told my doctor that i am so much hungry and wanted to eat every 3 hours.. she suggested me to take a blood test... Today the reports came... The sad thing is i got TSH... Am posting my results

After 2 weeks I started freaking out and got tested for all stds swab, urine and blood tests all came back negative. I know it was too soon for some so I will get tested on wednesday again which will be 28 days. I will get the 4th gen elisa duo again.
my questions are: I have a cold/flu and bronchitis right now, would that affect the results?
will it be conclusive at that time?
After 40 days (04-July-2017) i consult with doctor. He checked and said no issues. but for my sake he prescribed blood and urine Test.

Anne, you have zero risk of infection there. I'm also amazed you're sure it was dried blood under his fingernails - 'could just as likely have been fecal material - yuck! Change clinic!
But if you're at allanxious... antibodies to HIV don't develop for six months! You can't be tested for six months after suspected exposure - or, you can't get a valid result from the so-called ELISA test until that time has elapsed!
Positive for HSV-2, negative for others ( HIV, HSV1, Hepatitis, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea ). The herpes test kit used was HerpeSelect ELISA for HSV-1 and HSV-2. Specifically, the HerpeSelect 1 ELISA result was 0.35 and the HerpeSelect 2 ELISA result was 8.79
I repeated the tests in September 2009. A different provider who also used HerpeSelect ELISA. Same results as the testing in May - postive for HSV-2, negative for all others.

and gave some tablets , after taking those tablets the infection disapeared.after 6 th week i did antibody elisa test and rna test , both of them came negetive.. but after 1 week of that i got sore throats and pain in chest. which got disapeared in 3 days.. after 11th week i again did antibody elisa test , same came negative again. but week before that i got sores in the throat. they were itiching. but there was no pain in any glands or fever.
There is a lot of new tests but elisa is just the type of test, there are 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation of elisas, and there continue to be a lot of research for new tests, the newest teste tend to be rapid test accurate as elsia tests, there has been also improvement also in the NAAT tests, and some labs are trying to come up with a new 5th generation rapid test (PCR+Antibody+p24) but is not ready yet.
My husband had positive elisa test with 3.45 value in august 2016 for hepatitis c. Then he got treatment aND it showed 0.85 value in January 2017. He got checked his hepatitis C by elisa test again two days back. It showed a value of 85.0. He's active n doing job. No cough or any other symptoms. He did it as just a routine checkup. Please guide if elisa test can be 85.0 ?? What should we do next? Much worried! !

About a week or so ago I needed to get a medical check for work. When I got my results back, I was shocked to be told that the Elisa test came back as HIV reactive at 1.52. They tested it twice. I really have no idea what that number stands for, though.
I don't have sex. No girlfriend. And I don't sleep with street workers. As far as I can remember, I have not come into contact with blood (except when killing mosquitoes).
