Just because you have HIV does not mean you have TB. But here is the catch, around 30% of the worlds population carry TB, 10% of that population will eventually contract active TB wich can be deadly if not treated ASAP. Even those on treatment could possibly die due to the disease progress, or the medications used to treat TB.
After a month went to a reputed hospital of our country for confirming tb. Doctors did all the test. They also gave elisa 3rd generation hiv test .It was after 45 days of blood transfusion. Came negative result. Tb was concluded and told to continue medicines for 9 months. I did complete the medicine course being always scared of MDR tb by googling on net, every 2 months doctors visit, multiple ct scan and xray. Doctors said an old scar is remaining and you are healed.
firstly he was tested weakly positive on ELISA 12years back. NOT ON HAART/ ANY MEDS TILL NOW. Had TB 3year back and CD4 was around 150. During TB, HIV WB ALL BANDS POSITIVE BUT NOT P31 BAND. Last year Indeterminate on WB with only ENV bands, repeatedly same pattern after 1year NO additional bands developed only ENV BANDS. After TB chemotherapy also CD4 NOT increasing. May be all these problems because of TB WHICH WAS THERE SINCE LONG TIME SMOKING 15YEARS.

small size lymphnodes are stays for 15 to 20 days and disappears after that my doctor prescribed me Tab Lynx for lymphnodes.last week i have checked for tuberculosis test. it came possitive “14mm”.but in Elisa test it came negative.my HIV test also came negative.
But i have doubt Of HIV or other STD’s because i am in contact with the girl from last 2 years.i came to know that she is now having sexual contact with another guy i dont know that guy having HIV or not.

two step Montoux and ELISA for TB. Polyclonal gammopathy is suggestive of lymphoproliferative disorders, liver diseases, connective tissue diseases, chronic infections, and bone marrow suppression.
So, if TB is confirmed, then AKT4 can be started. The rifampicin capsule has to be taken empty stomach in morning. The rest three tablets are to be taken after proper breakfast.

after 45 days post transfusion i was visiting a renowed hospital in India (my country) for satisfaction that yes i indeed had tb nothing else....they did all the test and said to continue tb medication for 9 months and i did that....they also did HIV elisa 3rd generation post 45 days of blood transfusion..and negative result came back....fast forward 2 years later in september 2017 i caught dengue fever...i recovered within 10 days...
I tested for HIV again on 9th April, 2014 (this time a HIV 1+2, antibodies Elisa test at a different diagnostic center which also runs a blood bank). The results were again negative (this was 6 months and 9 days after the masseur incident)
Extremely stressed, please advice if I need further testing or these tests should be conclusive.
I just met the doc about an hour ago and he advised me that I mmight have a latent TB or TB infection and asked me to get a test done...called Elisa Test for some IGM and IGG...why do you think he has asked for it...he said something related to the immunity system of the body...also he told me the infection that I have has been there for some time and not a recent one ...so immunity system of the body must be good...throw some light ...
I see myself healthy, after my testing, I was informed that the Elisa test was positive and needs confirmatory. The nurse said, we will wait for the confirmatory test. When I heard the news, i started feeling numbness and tingling in my legs and hands every night and day and does not stop. I keep on being very worried. As I wait for the confirmatory test, is the numbness related to HIV or anxiety?
I tried meditating and emptying my thoughts, I did a rest from work and I felt good and relax.

So of course I am freaking out a little but it seems like ant-biotics make me feel better so I am wondering if there was a chance of a cross-reaction on the Elisa test? and after 9 months would the WB have been positive if it was positive? Why so many "Equivocal" bands?
I recently took a tb test at a job I got a week ago dealing with mental health. I took the test at the location I work at. When I arrived in the office for the medical assistant to conduct the test, the syringe had already been opened. I'm worried that he reused an old syringe to conduct a tb skin test which could have been used on someone that's hiv positive. Do I have anything to worry about even if the tb syringe was reused?
after 45 days i was worried searching the net that i might have hiv from blood transfusion at did elisa 3rd gen test..it came negative....fast forward 2018 august i felt pain under my armpit and had several other symptoms like yellowiah tongue,weakness....again googled and end up doing another hiv test...it also came negative(no sexual encounter,or drug abuse ever)...i was relaxed....from october 2018 armpit pain along with inner thigh pain started....
But just found out I tested positive for TB. So is my 12 week hiv negative test conclusive even though I tested positive with TB?
