that elisa test is crap still used in the philippines and titer is a fraud, there is no titer in that number which is not hbsag at all but the quantity of reagent used.
1. my first encounter was on december 2011. condom protected(vaginal). but it broke and we immediately changed it right away. i perform oral sex with her and vice versa. i took hiv elisa test(philippines, don't know if it 4th generation) 1month post exposure on january2012. and it is negative. again i took rapid test at 2month post exposure. negative. i know i need a retest at 3month and 6month. but what are my chances that i'm negative?

When I was diagnosed in 1991 they were not doing s/co testing. The RIBA test is a confirmatory test for the antibody test. It is no longer widely used in this country as there are better confirmatory tests like the NAT and PCR. The PCR is the gold standard....it is the only test that tells you whether the virus is in your blood. All the others just tell you about the antibodies.Why do you think after everyone and your doctor tells you that you do not have HCV that you are still so concerned?

is this abbott architect result in iu/ml or stupid elisa test?if the result is not in iu/ml it is not hbsag quantity so you will not know if increaed or decreaded, in any case it flatuates but not a lot and usually increase with antivirals and decrease with immune modultaors
hbsag has no correlation at all with alt/ast, hbvdna.
We can't tell you about the test cost in different countries. You can ask your doctor for a type specific IgG blood test.
Is there a reason you think you might have herpes?
If you don't have symptoms, and haven't had a lot of risk, please really consider if you want to take the test. There are false positives on the type 2 test, and working through that can get very expensive and can take weeks. I'm not sure the testing needed to do that is available in the Philippines.
they don t tell liver damage, how the infection is and if it has chances to be cleared.obviously the probel is you are in the philippines were tests, prepared doctors are missing

quite the opposite, immune system damages the liver on cronic hbv and is not able to do a thing to hbv.

No it's a PCR-RNA test and needs to be followed up with an antibody test. 3 months post exposure is when you can obtain your conclusive test result.
Hello I'm 33, a straight male from the Philippines. I had an ELISA test on March 26 of this year the test was negative. On April 10, I had casual sex with a call girl, she gave me unprotected oral sex and we had protected vaginal sex after. On May 9, I had sex with the same call girl. this time I fingered her vaginal. I later noticed that I have a small cut on my left index finger, which seems to be a couple of days old. As to this lady's status, I am not sure.
4) I inquired with the bar management about the regular tests they have, they confirmed that every week they have SMEAR test and Monthly once HIV test, but we know not to believe them.
5) The girl whom i met was 21 years old, i asked about her HIV status were she says she has no HIV but sometimes infection as Gonorrhea and etc.
Kindly advice me whether to go for HIV Test or not required!

On April 28, 2009 one month after I go for oraquick rapid test (using blood), and again on May 27, 2009 and both results to negative. Is the result conclusive or do I need Another follow-up test. Please help me.
my doctor is said to me to give pcr-rt (quantitative) test? what is pcr? I am very worried.
