I was then tested for HSV2 and here are the results. Above 1.10 is positive I had a 1.26 the method used was the Eti - max Elisa Focus Diagnostics Kit. The test states that it's type specific and that they use IgG Abs. Could it be a false positive?

About a week or so ago I needed to get a medical check for work. When I got my results back, I was shocked to be told that the Elisa test came back as HIV reactive at 1.52. They tested it twice. I really have no idea what that number stands for, though.

LabCorp offers the Herpeselect "Immunoblot." It's not the WB unfortunately, but deemed more accurate than HerpeSelects Elisa with numerical value.
The results of this test will just be "positive" or "negative" and will not have a numerical number associated with the result like the Elisa test.
You can only get the WB through the U of Washington or requested through a physician like Terri Warren @ Westover Heights clinic.
In sum, if you get a positive Lyme test on a Western blot or ELISA test, it is likely accurate, but if you get a negative test on Western blot or ELISA test, it may be inaccurate: the test say you don't have it, but in reality, you very well could. If they are not reporting the actual number then stef2011 is right and it is just the diagnostic test and it only tells you if you have the virus.
However, the second test you mentioned 2- HBSAG Elisa decreases from 97.5 to 78. This test I believe is the correct test and is the quantitative test and shows that the surface antigen level is going down. So you are doing really good!
When I started to take vitamin D my HBSAG started going down. It would not hurt to add 2000 IU of vitamin D a day.
10 days after the encounter I took an Elisa 4th generation test and the result was 0,30 . I retook the test 3 weeks later and the result is 0,50 when For me at least, the number never when over 0,3.
I will Get tested one more time in two weeks so it will be 6 weeks since the encounter, but I keep wondering if it’s normal for the number to keep going up.

I had a light fever and dry cough 12 days after the incident out of which the cough is still present. i had an Elisa test yesterday(29th day) which was negative. But the elisa absorbance ratio was 0.405 and in all my previous tests it was around 0.3. the cut of point was stated as 0.9
pls help me with the following as i am very scared
