I had a STD check and found HSV 1&2 (ELISA Method) values by igg method is 1.9 & 1.8 respectively,igM values are negative.
I did earlier test on Dec 12th, it said { IgG = 1:100 IgM = N E G A T I V O } for both HSV 1 & 2.
my last test on Feb 4th ,is the one i mentioned in the previous post ( igg 1.9 & igg 1.8 , igM negative ) for both HSV 1 & 2.
i dont have any symptoms. ( can someone tell me any obvious symptoms to clarify ).
test was done with ifa method. and my question is it reliable method and 5 weeks more test what percentage is aquracy? plus i didnt have ars fever some ars symptoms i had but just infection maybe fever never went more than 37.4 and it was changing all the time. and as i try to remmeber i thinki that my vaginal sex was protected (hope)
my question is stil about ifa method ? is it good method and what would be aquracy?
None of the test gives you conclusive results before 3 months mark, counted from the last exposure.

No matte what generation for test method , elisa generation 2 ? 3 or 4 ? Someone said 3 month is conclusive but some said 6 month & 12 month . Which is the correct timetable for conclusive test result ? Last test was 177 days by elisa negative but don't know what generation , was this result conclusive ?
m scared that in saudi they used new generation elisa or not(i didnt aske them)please comment me your thought in about elisa test in saudi. Can it happen that the results are False positive, Should we trust ELISA method? is the any other method we can used for confirmation as now this is really bad news to our life and living a good and trusted life and now where does the HIV comes from as both of us we are living faithfully life. Kindly help us so that we accept or not.
We total don't believe the results and this is affecting our pregnancy as we cannot accept this.

my question is , "HIV AG\AB test" after the three months it will be searching for the AB as well as it search for the AG if it found it,
so what is the method used to search for the AB in the (HIV AG\AB) test , 2- is is better than the method in Elisa AB test after 3 months , 3- if i did h="hiv AG\AB" test after three months " is it conclusive as if i did HIV Elisa AB test"

Dear 9 months back i has sexual relation with one lady without condomn after 9 months i did the hiv test (tri dot method) and the result was negative, but still am tensed becuase of the accuracy test. This tri dot method is an acceptable method or not. or do i want to take Elisa test again. am so tensed. Now i do have have cold and sneezing for more than two weeks, is this a symptom of HIV or not.
Tridot is an ELISA test and CRFs are in HIV type 1 Group M and can be detected by ELISA tests.
As I approched the lab and told the lady that I want to perform a Elisa test, 1st question was this is a method and not a test, so I told i want to do HIV 1 and HIV screening, via ELISA method.
The lady gave me a very very bad look and then asked me for a Dr prescribtion. I told I dont have, she just shouted a loud and asked her senior that this guy wants to do a HIV test and dont has a Dr prescribtion.
