HIV test, which most people do not understand, cover testing HTLV 1 through 4. Also know that 100% of the people who have HIV will eventually die of AIDS 100%.
These tests do not cover other HIV strains such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which is a form of AIDS. Nor does it cover the other variants of the AIDS/HIV which the original virus has mutated into. The truth is there are over 300 different strains of the HIV.
The duo test IS an ELISA, combined with a test for HIV p24 antigen. If a duo test is positive at 7 weeks, it is because HIV antibody is present. Therefore, an ELISA antibody test will always be positive in that circumstance. If your duo test is positive, there is no point to repeating an ELISA; you have HIV and that's all there is to it. If so, you need to immediately make an appointment with a doctor or clinic for proper medical care.

About a week or so ago I needed to get a medical check for work. When I got my results back, I was shocked to be told that the Elisa test came back as HIV reactive at 1.52. They tested it twice. I really have no idea what that number stands for, though.
I don't have sex. No girlfriend. And I don't sleep with street workers. As far as I can remember, I have not come into contact with blood (except when killing mosquitoes).

cmia reported to be positive in that report ELISA is negative. Respectively on 8 March, 30 March and 3 may go on a test center for HIV, the test is ELISA HIV1 2 (Ag AB), report the result is negative. I would like to ask the doctor I can exclude the?? and test center staff told me that CMIA inspection accuracy than ELISA high.
During that time I got tested for other STDs includding HIV. The third generation ELISA test came out negative. My question is, is 6 months enough time for the test to be conclusive?? I was glad the results were negative, but I've heard from two doctors that it can take up to a year. So now I've become paranoid. Am I still at risk?

I had protected sex, no oral play with a massage parlor worker 4 months back. This week my elisa test came back reactive while western blot test indicated negative result for hiv. I assume this is a false positive result for elisa. I also did 2 oraquick tests which were negative.
Do you think o am infected?
2 was accurate, and I have read some papers written by Professor Morrow, these paper give me some information that the Herpeselect elisa test was perfect, but in my past point, the anti-body test to HSV was only suit to investigate of epidemic disease and unsuitble to clinic diagnose.

i had unprotected vaginal sex with lady unknown HIV status , after 20 days i took screening test using ELISA methode 4th generation the result is negative , and then on 35 days i took same test but the lab technician told me that he only detect antibody because P24 antigen detected on few weeks after exposure , meaning on 2nd test ( 35 days ) only antibody test but using ELISA 4th gen. any expert can explain how the accurate my test?
1. How about the Herpeselect Elisa test?
2. Is it ture that All patient , infected by HSV-II, could yield the specific antibody IgG after enough time ?
3. Would the IgG dispear in the recurrent patient?
4. Does the Herpeselect kit can test the microcrystalline IgG?
5. Does the Herpeselect elisa kit suit to the clinic diagnose?

s Tensed19 , just for the information , no matter what generation elisa test method and no matter what kind of high risk exposure , 3 months is conclusive and no need testing again , so 177 days elisa negative is more then conclusive , is that right ?
