How is the dog after 2 weeks? Can i learn anything if so much time has passed? How much would a vet and any toxicology tests cost?
This sounds like the exact same thing my family and I went through with my sister a little over 3 years ago. Her body pretty much shut down and was on life support. My parents had to make the very difficult decision to take her off of it after talking to every doctor possible that she could not be brought back. She was almost 31 years old and very healthy. I do know that she abused pain medication though.
Go get tested at 6 weeks and if you want again at 12 weeks for it to be conclusive but a negative at 6 weeks will probably not change. Also test for all other stds just in case. A test past 3 months is not necessary. Pray for me and I will pray for you man. Thank You. The drug stores sell dip stick tests whereas employers use toxicology labs that use gas chromatography (GC). When I test someone I have the option to run a regular panel or if I suspect they used outside the normal timeframe that the metabolites have been eliminated, I can check I certain box that will go back 6 days. I dont think your employer will do that as they are much more expensive but then again, I dont know your situation.
Why is it that they havent made a better way of Elisa or anything? its so a old way to find HIV. The Elisa test is like 20-25 years old. and they still use it? Why.
i have no symptoms untill now, i did Elisa test 52 days after 1st time and 20 days after last time and today it´s been 2 months since 1st time (the day i saw the blood) and 1 month after our last time. i live in africa, the doctor said that the elisa test i did is excellant and it could detect antibodies even 1 week after last time.

About a week or so ago I needed to get a medical check for work. When I got my results back, I was shocked to be told that the Elisa test came back as HIV reactive at 1.52. They tested it twice. I really have no idea what that number stands for, though.
I don't have sex. No girlfriend. And I don't sleep with street workers. As far as I can remember, I have not come into contact with blood (except when killing mosquitoes).
My husband had positive elisa test with 3.45 value in august 2016 for hepatitis c. Then he got treatment aND it showed 0.85 value in January 2017. He got checked his hepatitis C by elisa test again two days back. It showed a value of 85.0. He's active n doing job. No cough or any other symptoms. He did it as just a routine checkup. Please guide if elisa test can be 85.0 ?? What should we do next? Much worried! !
Any test you did after 3 months of the exposure, was conclusive. You o not have HIV, move on with your life.
Hi i Just wanted to know how accurate is ELISA third generation tests is,
my last sex was at 04/11/2010 i did the first test on 22/1/2011 the result wasELISA : HIV1&HIV2 NEGATIVE (0.15) i started to get worried of the number so i did a second test on 15/2/2011 just to make sure that i completed 3 monthes and the rsult came ELISA : HIV1&HIV2 NEGATIVE (0.33) i freeked out why that number is keeping rising !!
my doctor is said to me to give pcr-rt (quantitative) test? what is pcr? I am very worried.
and work in lap said me thit is elisa method . and take another test after 6 months result test after 2 days in hospital ?// can elisa method take result in 30 min only ????
3. any diffrent about first elisa gen and third gen?? the same window piriod after 6 months?

5. can all elisa test to detect hiv1 and hiv2 and all group or strains in hiv1
