she wrote Urine for Elisa test. I gave Urine sample.. After ten min. they came out with report. On the microbiology report they worte Urine for Pregnancy : Positive (By Elisa Method).
I just back from the hospital ...right now am so much worried and tensed...Yesterday i told my doctor that i am so much hungry and wanted to eat every 3 hours.. she suggested me to take a blood test... Today the reports came... The sad thing is i got TSH... Am posting my results

There is no culture test for molluscum. In any case, while it is true her HSV-2 ELISA result is on the low side, it is in the positive range and entirely consisteng with her being infected with HSV-2.
Your story is quite typical. Genital herpes due to HSV-2 often appears in truly monogamous couples, either because the infected person has had it all along, but previously had no symptoms; or because his or her partner had it all along, and transmission only occurred recently.

Go get tested at 6 weeks and if you want again at 12 weeks for it to be conclusive but a negative at 6 weeks will probably not change. Also test for all other stds just in case. A test past 3 months is not necessary. Pray for me and I will pray for you man. Thank You. Why is it that they havent made a better way of Elisa or anything? its so a old way to find HIV. The Elisa test is like 20-25 years old. and they still use it? Why.
i have no symptoms untill now, i did Elisa test 52 days after 1st time and 20 days after last time and today it´s been 2 months since 1st time (the day i saw the blood) and 1 month after our last time. i live in africa, the doctor said that the elisa test i did is excellant and it could detect antibodies even 1 week after last time.

About a week or so ago I needed to get a medical check for work. When I got my results back, I was shocked to be told that the Elisa test came back as HIV reactive at 1.52. They tested it twice. I really have no idea what that number stands for, though.
I don't have sex. No girlfriend. And I don't sleep with street workers. As far as I can remember, I have not come into contact with blood (except when killing mosquitoes).
My husband had positive elisa test with 3.45 value in august 2016 for hepatitis c. Then he got treatment aND it showed 0.85 value in January 2017. He got checked his hepatitis C by elisa test again two days back. It showed a value of 85.0. He's active n doing job. No cough or any other symptoms. He did it as just a routine checkup. Please guide if elisa test can be 85.0 ?? What should we do next? Much worried! !
Any test you did after 3 months of the exposure, was conclusive. You o not have HIV, move on with your life.

my last sex was at 04/11/2010 i did the first test on 22/1/2011 the result wasELISA : HIV1&HIV2 NEGATIVE (0.15) i started to get worried of the number so i did a second test on 15/2/2011 just to make sure that i completed 3 monthes and the rsult came ELISA : HIV1&HIV2 NEGATIVE (0.33) i freeked out why that number is keeping rising !!
most of the stuff you use will be a weak strain of something, or like one expeirment we did was, we swabed the lab table, someones face, the girls bathroom doorknob and put in in incabeter to see if something would grow. You would be fine, a preggo woman working in hospital or nursing home has a greater risk of getting something and they tell them to use universal precautions.
my doctor is said to me to give pcr-rt (quantitative) test? what is pcr? I am very worried.
I am currently undertaking a pHd in a microbiology laboratory and have begun suffering from a severe eye allergy to some chemical present in the lab where I work.
I'm a 39 year old microbiology student who recently had a lab in which we tested our saliva. The tubes were incubated for 3 days and I did a gram stain on the growth, expecting to find lactobacillus or other resident bacteria. However, what I found was only yeast, probably Candida (but we're still testing to be sure) and a few cells. Nothing else. I haven't been taking antibiotics lately.
