so i want to now what risk i have and do i need futher blood test. my test is negative in 11 weeks and just test using elisa method only. do i need another test like pcr, western bolt or rapid test to confirm back.
so is conclusive enough just do the elisa test only in 11 weeks.
give me a comment because i really dont now about this.
I in 26 February is a girl without condoms for oral sex, 1 March to test center testing HIV, the test is CMIA and elisa.cmia reported to be positive in that report ELISA is negative. Respectively on 8 March, 30 March and 3 may go on a test center for HIV, the test is ELISA HIV1 2 (Ag AB), report the result is negative. I would like to ask the doctor I can exclude the?? and test center staff told me that CMIA inspection accuracy than ELISA high.
my question is how reliable is rapid test here in malaysia because i ask the clinics they told me 99.8% but i want to know do i need further testing like elisa. the other foundation told me their test is equivalent to EIA. i am scared all these symtoms within the exact ars frame. please help me do i need to test again?
What do you guys think that if i tested Neg- at 18 week by EIA (Dont know what generation) and the Black guy had tested Neg- at 16 week by ELISA (Dont know what generation) in Malaysia. Am i still have the chance infected the HIV?
Cause Malaysia testing technology is not strong enough compare to other countries. That's y i.m still worries. Somemore Malaysia 'Window Period' is 6 Months! Hope everyone can answer my question. Thanks.
btw to get an Elisa test here in Malaysia.. all the major labs ie Gribbles,Linklabs, Pathlabs charges roughly aroung USD 7.00...

I had sex with a prostitute in malaysia on november 2011 and after 2 weeks i felt sick. i had diarrhea, fever, night sweats, loss of appetite, headache, fatigue, sore throat for more than 3 weeks. 4) Am i consider conclusive for HIV Result? In Malaysia, a lot of GP recommend to have 6 month HIV test instead of 3 month which really confuse me.
5) Do i need to follow my GP to go for 6 month HIV test again?
6) I did some general treatment because of mild fever and some other sickness, will medication affect my HIV Result too?
7) Is there any window period for WB and it is reliable for negative result at week 4?

The test u told is 4th generation test duo test I'd for Ag/Ab.the one u took on 16th day ....restart the same test at 4th week or test after three month ...it's your decision I have given u my opinion on your situation ....
then the doctor ask me to do hiv test. i was so scared at that time. but i did the hiv test by elisa in july 2009 and it came nonreactive. the doctor ask me to retest in 6 month mark. i never come to retest. but later about 2-3months i discover painless lymph node about 1cm in size in lower part of my left neck. then i found another 2 in lower part of my right neck. then on my right cheek. i am so scared. now is 2011. never been retest. i am so scared. i dont know about 3 month.
