Tests for std all negative.(urine test, culture test and dna test) But I have got treatment from gonorrhea (cefixin for 7 days), to treat Chlamydia I got doxycycline for7 days, and flogil to treat Trichomonas for 7 days, but nothing help Then I got apo-fluconezole to treat yeast infections I become to feel better but in 2 days symptoms came back. My doctor and urologist sad if tests for std are OK then I am OK to.
Positive for HSV-2, negative for others ( HIV, HSV1, Hepatitis, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea ). The herpes test kit used was HerpeSelect ELISA for HSV-1 and HSV-2. Specifically, the HerpeSelect 1 ELISA result was 0.35 and the HerpeSelect 2 ELISA result was 8.79
I repeated the tests in September 2009. A different provider who also used HerpeSelect ELISA. Same results as the testing in May - postive for HSV-2, negative for all others.
You have a numerical result for Herpes type 2 because of the type of test - ELISA. Results are measured quantitatively depending on the presence of anitbody in your blood.

I had sex with a girl about 3 weeks ago,during the process,the condom tore due to absence of lubrication,some days later,i developed symptoms for gonorrhea which i treated immediately.
He gives an antibiotic for the gonorrhea and asks me to take the HIV test. 6 weeks after slept with the girl, I went for HIV test (ELISA) and the result is negative. However, right now (after 5 months) I’m having some other symptoms like dry/burning mouth, tiny red spot all over my body and also my head, a rough at my palate. My questions are:
1. Is this the symptoms of HIV infection?
2. Can the antibiotic taken for my gonorrhea treatment affect the HIV antibody screening?
I have asked at one place about STD/STI tests especially for chlamydia and gonorrhea and they asked me if i want to do urine or semen test. I said semen because it sounds easier. Are they both accurate? I see most people do urine test but that seems more difficult to me.
Is there any chance that semen test will not be as accurate as urine test?
I got my test results back today. I got a 1st generation ELISA test at 13 weeks and 4 days post exposure. The results came back non-reactive....SO IM NEGATIVE as of now. I will be re-testing at 26 weeks for HIV and Hep C.
Name of Test was EIA ab, but doc said it was 1st generation elisa.

My rpr/syphillius/gonnirhea test done by urine at 10 days post exposure--negative. My rpr/syphillus/gonorrhea test done by swab(by primary doc) negative at 3 weeks. Also had pcr-DNA HIV test at 6 weeks--negative. My symptoms continue to be sore throat 10 weeks now. weight loss. Also I think I have angular chelitis. I have little whitish bumps on sides of lips and some patches that haven't repsonded/ minimally to diflucan. I also have some tingling in left side of face as well as left foot.
Regarding the tests, it is recommended waiting 1-5 days after chlamydia exposure and 2-6 days to test for gonorrhea after unprotected sexual intercourse.The accuracy of chlamydia tests depends on the kind of test used and the type of sample that is collected and retesting can be done after 2 weeks of the sexual intercourse as false negative test results can also be there. Hence it would be wise to repeat the tests if the symptoms persist even after 2 weeks of sexual exposure.
The next day after severe guilt and remorse, turned to fear in two days. It was all the signs of gonorrhea, except white fluid (I had once in college). Being the coward I told no one, but had access to take Augmentin (took 3 grams). No help.
By the end of the week I started thinking of all the above STDs. So I had a complete test HIV, Herpes 1 and 2, Clamydia, Hep B, Gonorrhea and Syphillis. Refraining from sex for the obvious reasons. So yesterday HIV, HEP C and Clamydia were negative.
It wasn't Gonorrhea.
t ejaculate into my mouth but due to possible precum risk I tested at 3, 5, 6, 7 months ELISA neg, 11 months duo test neg, 13 months PCR RNA undetectable, 15 months ELISA negative. But after one year of exposure I developed burning sensation in mouth and palate that just wont go away!! some post on the body claimed that he had it too and he turned out to be poz after a couple of tests?! He said men dont have burning mouth and if they do, it's related to this bug. Is this true?

I had unprotected sex on a few different occasions with the same girl in thailand (to say it was stupid is an understatement). The last encounter was on September 23, however it was also very scary. When I pulled out there was blood on my penis. I soon developed gonorrhea a few days after. I took an antibiotic and it cleared up within a couple days. The first hiv test (ELISA) I took was back home in Canada 10 days after the last encounter. It was negative.
