It certainly sounds like there is more going on than the mono / parvovirus ! It sounds like you have inflammation and no cause for it. Have your physicians ruled out autoimmune conditions such as lupus ?
I went to the CDC Website and looked up Parvovirus B19. I didn't realize this was the official name for "Fifths Disease" which one of my sons had many years ago. As you said, in children it is quite benign, my son was perfectly fine in a week or so, but in adults it can cause more serious symptoms.
Of those symptoms, anemia seemed to be the most serious, but that was resolved with transfusions. I saw no mention of any cardiac involvement at all. I put a lot of faith in the CDC.....
Are these results conclusive for being negative for HIV or do I need to get another ELISA again on 90 days post? The odds I've figured for myself are about 1/20,000,000,000 which makes me feel pretty good (using 3% incidence which is probably very high in the first place). I've also read that the difference between 82 and 90 days is irrelevant. However, it's just one of those things where a very slight possibility still seems uncomfortable.
Has anyone had Parvovirus while pregnant? I'm 10w6d and just got my ob panel test back and it says I have it. Still waiting to hear back from my doctor.
i already pass the 3 month period to get tested for HIV
my question is , "HIV AG\AB test" after the three months it will be searching for the AB as well as it search for the AG if it found it,
so what is the method used to search for the AB in the (HIV AG\AB) test , 2- is is better than the method in Elisa AB test after 3 months , 3- if i did h="hiv AG\AB" test after three months " is it conclusive as if i did HIV Elisa AB test"

No matte what generation for test method , elisa generation 2 ? 3 or 4 ? Someone said 3 month is conclusive but some said 6 month & 12 month . Which is the correct timetable for conclusive test result ? Last test was 177 days by elisa negative but don't know what generation , was this result conclusive ?
A negative Western blot test means the ELISA test was a false positive test. The Western blot test can also be unclear, in which case more testing is done.
Negative tests do not rule out HIV infection. There is a period of time (called the "window period") between HIV infection and the appearance of anti-HIV antibodies that can be measured. This period is 3 months from exposure. However, negative WB at 45 days is certainly very encouraging.
My husband had positive elisa test with 3.45 value in august 2016 for hepatitis c. Then he got treatment aND it showed 0.85 value in January 2017. He got checked his hepatitis C by elisa test again two days back. It showed a value of 85.0. He's active n doing job. No cough or any other symptoms. He did it as just a routine checkup. Please guide if elisa test can be 85.0 ?? What should we do next? Much worried! !

About a week or so ago I needed to get a medical check for work. When I got my results back, I was shocked to be told that the Elisa test came back as HIV reactive at 1.52. They tested it twice. I really have no idea what that number stands for, though.
I don't have sex. No girlfriend. And I don't sleep with street workers. As far as I can remember, I have not come into contact with blood (except when killing mosquitoes).
