Is it hbsag quantitive in IU ? You need to paste all test results you have, hbv dna, hbeag etc if you expect more experienced users to help you.

also elisa is a useless test for hbvers and antivirals also dont change it, you have to test hbsag quantitative in iu/ml (architect or elecsys) and hbvdna quantitative in iu/ml after you took lamivudine you can only use tenofovir because lam can mutate hbv to resistance to all drugs except tenofovir and interferon

From what I know the test means you have been exposed. There is another test that will tell you your viral load (virus level) which will indicate if you are still ill with Hep B.

the test you made is obsolete and useless, you need architect or elecsys machine which are old as well but the ones to give hbsag quan t results in iu/ml you also need hbvdna, hbeag/hbeab, fibroscan, utrasound to tell to see those who cured hbv make a serach "memebers who cleared hbsag"

Hiye, this may seem a silly question but is the Elisa test that is used for HIV the same as the Elisa test used for rheumatoid arthritis?.. Is the Elisa just a standard antibody test that is not disease specific and if reactive then a specific test is used?..

the test is made wrong without dilution to know the hbsag quantity, you may ask for a refund since it is a fraud if you required hbsag quantitative the only info is that you have hbv infection which can be chronic from birth as for all chronic hbv carriers (only 3% of adults dont clear) or acute.

my friend hbsag possitive value 21.36 for sag test in elisa machine. what this valuve mean if any serius condition. please explin.

By the way, i have this HPV for more ten years already. Myregular(every six months) HBSAG ELISA test is always reactive except my latest result. Any other accurate HPV test you can recommend? Thanks again in advance.

dont know much about it but that machine runs many different type of tests so it also matters the kit used i guess, not just the machine itself ask sensitivity of machine for occult hbv test hbsag and hbvdna to the most expert tech/doctor in the lab, they should know

one is elisa and 2nd is cima. i carried out my two test with gap of 3 month with 1st test performed by elisa system and 2nd is cima system. and i found difference between their result?

I m so depressed nd lost all hopes from life.so,pls help me as soon as u rcv my query. I was encountrd with jaundice in jan,10 nd during test first time detected HBsAg.then gone under test nd found HBsAg +ve(250) under elisa method,eAg -ve. After curing jaundice i had normal ALT & AST.

I undergo 3 times of test for HBs Ag last Jan 16,19 and 24, 2013 using ELISA and ECLIA method for testing and all the result is reactive (cut off index is 1.0 and i have a result of 31.31). Feb. 26, 2013, I undergo again the same test HBs Ag using ELISA method and i got a result of 0.036 non-reactive. It is really posible that I make it down to non reactive again after almost 1 and a hallf months?
