Is the ELFA test method an improved ELISA (as explained by the doctor at Apollo) and is it a Duo test/4th generation test?
3> Do I need to get another ELISA done at a different lab?

P.S: I have already sked a few related questions in the doctors forum, which have been kindly answered by Dr. EWH and Dr.HHH. But, I wanted a more specific answer about Apollo Hospital and if the ELFA test in India is approved ?
I had taken 2 Elisa test and 2 HIV DUO test and one rapid test this year (last DUO and Rapid test yesterday) all of them were negative. I had taken these tests in Bangalore, I am little worried if these test were reliable as i have very little idea on the sensitivity and reliability of the testing centres.
A 4th generation DUO test 28 days post your exposure will give you a very good indication of your status, but it will not be conclusive. Test again at 6-8 weeks with any blood drawn test for conclusive results.

my story in short, out of sheer stupidity, i ended up having sex with CSW (Bangalore , India) on 22nd Oct. no oral, no kissing,did not touch her vagina.she made me ware 2 condoms at the same time, after a couple of seconds condom broke, may be less the 10 seconds i checked it and was horrified ,during the act she kept her legs closed and i did not cum in her. when asked her about the status she swear on god and said she was clean.

About 2 months after my encounter (exactly 60 days), I had an ELISA test (sandwich) and the readings were Test value = 0.026. Cut off = 0.3 Result = Negative.

Now I want to continue his treatment in Bangalore, can any one suggest the dest pediatric neurologist in Bangalore other than suresh rao aroor.
Some of my symptoms are still persisting and my tongue continues to remain whitish and I have sores on the sides of my tongue too. Is an ELISA sandwich test conclusive after 90 days? She should not of had a period but you can test now, you can test 14-16 days after you have ovulated. It would show by now but I doubt she is from what you have said.
OH even if you pull out sperm has laready came out before you do anything in her or out of her!!! That way and thinking will get her pregnant for sure! Her cervical mucus is jsut like your seman with the same properties so it will travel through hers!!!!

After that I was scared and took "HIV proviral DNA by PCR" test after 7 days of exposure which came negative. Equipment used was Rotor Gene 3000. What is accuracy of this test at 7 days? What is the difference between HIV RNA test and Proviral DNA test? What are my chances of getting HIV from above exposure? I am really scared. Dr.
I am in deep stress due to my action on Dec 9th, 2015. I visited a CSW in Bangalore and even though I wanted only a body massage. I slipped further and went into few things.
She put on 2 condoms(Moods) and told me to penetrate her but when I tried to penetrate her, I was too flaccid and was unable to do so, she ended it with an oral with the condoms on and she removed them. I felt that they didn’t break because I felt her removing it and the semen was collected in the condom.

There is a lot of new tests but elisa is just the type of test, there are 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation of elisas, and there continue to be a lot of research for new tests, the newest teste tend to be rapid test accurate as elsia tests, there has been also improvement also in the NAAT tests, and some labs are trying to come up with a new 5th generation rapid test (PCR+Antibody+p24) but is not ready yet.
