Avatar f tn This drug never helped me just gave me a load more issues to deal with severe joint pain feeling of unreality fatigue serious weight gain the panic disorder that they put me on this drug for was still there. I could add to the list. I now feel even stonger about taking medications especially after this withdrawel because what has it done to my body.
Avatar m tn Thanks for the prompt answer, but yeah i do not feel any joint pain, i basically goto no sides from the meds, so i should be okay. Just wanted to know if it affectede testorone levels or something like that.
Avatar f tn severe or persistent joint or muscle pain; severe or persistent nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain; severe or persistent nervousness, restlessness, or trouble sleeping; shortness of breath; suicidal thoughts or attempts; tremor; unusual swelling; yellowing of the skin or eyes. Taking Effexor with Wellbutrin is not any more risky of getting seizures than wellbutrin alone. There are studies out that show there is an improvement when patients take Effexor with Wellbutrin together.
Avatar f tn Effexor made me loose weight I'm takin 150 m doc double it to twice a day with welbutron,it takes my sex drive away.
Avatar f tn my doc prescripted neurontin and told me it was neuropathic pain, i also take effexor and had to go up to 300mg a day but eventually it stoped working and was sent to a phychiatrist as my depression just got alot worse as no one can give a correct diagnosis as why i am getting neuropathic pain. i am now at the stage where my phychiatrist is slowly weaning me of effexor and puting me on amnitrypaline.
Avatar n tn Until recently i was using Effexor and used it for 10 years, so i think the effexor was camouflaging my pain since they use it in neuropathy treatement. But, during the last year of using Effexor the pain got stronger, and now since i'm free of Effexor the pain is getting stronger. Any comment or suggestion from you would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn re experiencing the same difficultied that I am.....My body just fell apart over the last 2 years, joint pain, broke bone in my foot after working out on a tread mill, weight gain, .....Boo Hoo....But I am so depressed over what's happening to me, and I was so healthy 5 years ago.... I too feel 65 yrs old and I am only 53. I'm really worried!
Avatar f tn m not sure Cymbalta is better for pain control than Effexor anyway. Cymbalta is the same class of medication and got certified by FDA for pain control to keep its patent alive longer, but it doesn't treat the source of pain, it just makes people not care as much. I believe the successor drug to Effexor, Pristiq, has also gotten certified for this purpose, so again I'm guessing that Effexor may be just as effective at controlling pain.
Avatar m tn I developed pain, burning and numbness in both feet, but the right foot is far more severe. My doctors are taking me off amitriptyline and Effexor to start Cymbalta. The pain management specialist wants me to stop taking lorazepam, but is is the only thing that seems to help when the pain is unbearable. I have several herniated lumbar discs but the pain doc thought it was CRPS, but has since decided that is not the cause of my pain. Has anyone dealt with this type of pain?
Avatar n tn YES,YES tramadol is very addicting and difficult to stop because of the antidepressant action similar to effexor.Even if most of the literature and medical people say it is a mild opiate....it still is very addictive and builds a tolerance quickly. Some people have withdrawals even at recommended doses in as little as a few weeks.
1276940 tn?1564515084 My name is Lisa. I am 45 y/o. I was dx w/ SS in April 2016 via a barbaric lip bx. I was sero-negative. I'm not 100% sure my lip bx was read right but that's another story for another time. I am on 200 mg Plaquenil BID & Evoxac 30 mg TID. I have been sailing along nicely until recently. I was in Esthetician school (and doing quite well), we all (a bunch of students) went to Nashville the end of April, for 3 days to a hair & skin show.
Avatar f tn I was back on Effexor for about a month after weaning off it - only taking 25 mg. The muscle pain and cramps in my legs started after about 3 weeks, so I stopped taking the effexor - it has been 10 days - 2 weeks and legs are still bothering me. Any experience with similar situation?
Avatar f tn I was on Effexor and Lyrica. Effexor for depression but also for neuropathy pain in my fee also. It seemed the Lyrica and Effexor combined worked for the pain, I went to a neurologist and he took me off the Lyrica, which made me gain 60lbs! lol... and put me on Zonisamide. It has been great for my pain. But now that aI have been on it awhile I am feeling sick to my stomach every morning and my head feels fuzzy.
Avatar n tn Hello Doctor: About 2 or 3 days per week, I wake up with a dull pressure-headache in my forehead, fullness in my eustachian tube, a slight nasal congestion, a feeling of malaise, very dry mouth, and scratchy throat.. The symptoms usually reduce a lot by the afternoon. I have also noticed that this happens when I get a full night's sleep. In other words, if I sleep only 5-6 hours at night, then I don't get these symptoms.
Avatar m tn After a day of brain zaps, vertigo, nausea, dizziness, irritability, mood swings (happy to throwing things in less than 5 mins), having a short fuse, body aches, teeth sensitivity, joint pain and gassiness, I decided to take some natural supplements to help with the withdrawal symptoms. For me personally, the brain zaps were the worse by far. I felt like I had an electrical storm in my head.
Avatar f tn I started having joint pain a couple of weeks after gall bladder surgery. It is continually getting worse and in my shoulders, wrists and right jaw. My left hip joint has gotten better. The pain hurts really bad at night when I am laying and try to move my arms. I am also having trouble chewing with my jaw in pain. I am 63 years old and a Real Estate Agent. I never had a pain at all until after the surgery. I have always been in good health and don't drink or smoke.
Avatar f tn Joint pain refers to discomfort, aches, and soreness in any of the body's joints. Joint pain is a common complaint, and does not typically require a hospital visit. Arthritis is a frequent cause of joint pain.
Avatar f tn I got diagnosed with hsv2 last fall. After continual outbreaks my doc finally put me on suppression therapy. I've had weight gain depression and now joint pain. It's a 6 month dose and one month to go. Does the joint pain go away after dosage is done? Does the weight come off? I exercise regularly and eat properly. Depression I know is a mental battle. I just don't like the joint pain as I'm trying to get this weight off.

Avatar m tn Hello Everyone, My concern is as follows: the only exposure I have is unprotected oral performed on other men. Since the beginning of the year i have been experiencing pain on my both knees that come and go and well, I'd like to know how does ars joint pain feel like. The doctor diagnosed some patellar disfunction but I doubt it, since I only started running last year and I read professional runners are those who get it. Or something.
