Ive been using nizoral shampoo every other day on the infected area and for the first 2 weeks was using lamisil or canensten cream (anitfungal). However the last doctor i went to prescribed me DOVONEX (calciptotriol). Ive done some research on what it is, and there is no link between Psoriasis(which is what dovonex is used for) and Pytriaisis Versicolor or even Tinea Versicolor, or any other fungal infections for that matter.

Otherwise you can go in for glycolic peals, laser treatments and pressure dressings. Severe scarrings may need skin grafting by a plastic surgeon.

I use econazole cream - and it works great. No messy Selsen nights for me. I use the cream on the spots and around the surrounding area for at least 5-7 days (once or twice a day depending on how bad). It can be a pain if it is all over your back for instance - but dilligence and consistent use of the cream will kill it fast. This last time I only did it for 3-4 days and it covered most of my back. It's gone and the tanning bed has returned my skin to normal in a few sessions.
Using Promiseb works well for me, but my insurance does not cover prescriptions for it, and trial sizes are not always available at my Dermatologist. I was able to get Desonide cream filled and wondered if I should expect any good results from Desonide. Is it at all comparable to Promiseb in helping with Rosacea?
Hello, my six month old son was born with ILVEN. It starts on the back of his shoulder and goes down his arm to the crease of his arm. We have been going to a pediatric dermatologist since we first noticed it. They did a biopsy and it came back as ILVEN. His dermatologist prescribed dovonex and a steroid cream I apply twice daily. I have been doing this for 3 months now and I don't see any change at all. Our next appointment is in another 3 months to check it.

I have been on betamethasone, desonide, dovonex (for a year) and, now, clobetasol (once a day). I will be undergoing phototherapy in a month.
My question is whether or not it is safe to have phototherapy on thinning skin.
Also, should I treat thinning skin with moisturizers or is there another solution? I have terrible bruising; but the cream seems to be working.
I have been switched to Dovonex for the treatment of psoriasis, but experienced achey joints and hormonal fluctuations after prolonged use of Desonide (0.05%). I was wondering if this is just a coincidence (that I am just naturally predisposed to having thyroid problems) or if I misused the ointment.
Definitely get measured. To avoid stretch marks I wear a comfortable bra to sleep and one with great support during the day. I also make sure to use mama bee cream from burts bees. Definitely don't scratch. Massaging them helps with an oil or the cream. I used the cream as soon as I found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks.
I promise that buying newborn sizes are a waste of money. Just buy one or two outfits for pics at the hospital if you like but better to buy size 3 or size 0-3.
Diapers wipes for you and baby 2 to thee baby outfits different sizes. You never know how bigthe baby will be. Bring undies and a change of clothes for urself. Books or games to keep urself busy. A blanket for baby and if you want the burping sheets a pacifier and a bottle.
I have had this skin rash that shows up 2-3 times a day, and then vanishes with in an hour or so. They started showing up when I started using jock itch cream, but I haven't used the cream for about 4 days. The rash is red bumps that itch slightly and vary in size. The appear mostly on my forarms on the bottom side, and they have also appeared on my lower belly, and my upper legs.
NB - steriod cream can make the skin thinner and feel weak. This will go when your stop using the cream but the forskin will reamain able to retract.
Penis size. Don't forget that men tend to be going though puberty until at least 21 years of age and that penis sizes differ greatly. As long as your have a healthy functioning penis, don't worry about the size and let nature take it's course.

m bringing about 6 outfits for baby in different sizes because i have no idea how big baby boy will be. Also, a hair brush and hair ties...if you have long hair, trust me you'll want both.
I have changed my eating habits, sodas etc and was really strict for a while but slowly have added back cereal and some ice cream (no sugar added). Also, my eyes seem worse the lower my bg is? Instead of answering my questions, my Dr says I'm doing fine. Oh, I did start with a pill in the morning and 1 at night, my bg was 52 several months ago and my Dr took me off the night pill. Weight is currently about 320 and was 387 when this started.
