but yeah I called my doctor and he denied it being the Depo Provera, said it is probably just a yeast infection and to take some monistat.... though when I get the depo shot I also had a pap which came back with no signs of a yeast infection only three days before i started having this problem... though I didn't think about the fact that I couldn have gotten one afterwards, because of the dryness and what not.
What ever is going on it just has to go away.

I have been diagnosed many times with yeast infections however they never seem to go away completely, In my relationship, we have a healthy sex life, however most recently (6 months to now) I can not preform because after 10 minutes into sex i have intense pain, it feels swollen, and burning sensation during and after. I have tried to use variety of lubrication, however, it makes it worse. I also have had pelvic screenings and their clean.
I missed a dose of Depo provera by 7 days now. I know that I am not pregnant due to no intercourse. My question is do I still have to wait until I get a cycle? What if I dont have a cycle for several months, in the past my cycle was abnornal to begin with. If I have the depo without being on my cycle will I still be protected? I started the depo Aug. 2008. And had never missed a dose until this time. My dose was due May 1, 2009. Can anyone help me with this???

I received the birthcontrol shot 'Depo-provera' sometime in August, and in late September I started getting a slightly odd brown vaginal discharge, not long after, I started spotting uterus tissue and blood, typical period, I hear you can still have a light period when on the shot. I had tried the Provera when I was about 16 for about a year. I had to stop because I could not handle the side effects any longer. I did spot for about 3 months. It usually takes a few months for your system to get used to it.
The Lupron stops your period completely and basically puts your body into menopause, which is the one I am currently on.

I started birth control at 15 for heavy periods. I switched to Depo Provera after about 6 years on the same pill. I was on Depo Provera for 1 year. I stopped in December 2015 due to irritating light spotting and mood changes. I began BC pills that allow for a period only once every 3 months. The spotting now only occurs after sex or self stimulation. I got my period in February, and it was extremely light (not at all like I remember).
Hello everyone, I have never turned to a forum of any kind for any reason before but I am now because I don't feel like I can really talk to anyone in my personal life about what I'm dealing with every day & have them actually understand.
I am 22 years old. I have had 4 laproscopy's in the past 4 years (the last one being a week ago today) & 3 DNC's (along with the past 3 surgeries - not this most recent surgery) to clean out the endometriosis & everything.
In October 5, 2015, my 15 year old daughter received the depo shot. Two weeks after receiving the shot, she woke unable to move her limbs. She regained movement after a few hours, but one week after that she went numb on the left side and had slurred speech. She was rushed to the hospital because doctors feared she was having a stroke. After having an MRI, MRA, Lumbar Puncture, Ultrasound, X-Ray, EEG, EKG, and lots of blood work...all tests were normal.
