I missed a dose of Depo provera by 7 days now. I know that I am not pregnant due to no intercourse. My question is do I still have to wait until I get a cycle? What if I dont have a cycle for several months, in the past my cycle was abnornal to begin with. If I have the depo without being on my cycle will I still be protected? I started the depo Aug. 2008. And had never missed a dose until this time. My dose was due May 1, 2009. Can anyone help me with this???
I had my daughter in january and was put on th depo shot (birthcontroll). I stop takig in it jun and july i had a normal period.! Well in aug an sep i missed my periond.! I took home pregnancy test an they all said neg. im having so of the pregnancy symtoms like sleepy. Hight temp, mood changes, an wanting differen thing to eat. I just got a shot of depo-provera birth control 3 days ago and my period was supposed to start yesterday and it hasn't. I am sexually active and the last time I had sex was on my period last month and we used condoms but I wasn't on birth control and my partner did not go all the way. I just went to the GYN and got my annual pelvic exam and my first shot of depo and so far everything has been okay.
Im 28 and have never been pregnant slightly overweight but not too concerred and getting it back down periods were always regular and pain free went on for birth control, my husband has 1 child already and decided to start are own family.

Most home pregnancy tests that check urine beta-HCG are sensitive to 20-25 mIU/ml of HCG. The test can be positive anywhere from about 2-3 days prior to a missed menses to 4-5 days after, but usually it should be done 7-10 days past your missed period.

I had my first and only Depo shot in July 2014 and that ran out in October of 2014. My period came in September and then I missed my periods until December 2015. After December, I started getting a period every 3-ish weeks until march 2015. Since March, I've seen absolutely no trace of a period.
I've filled out pregnancy after several home tests, a doctor's blood test and an ultrasound 20-ish weeks after my last sexual encounter.

I have previously been on the Depo Provera shot, but my last shot was 10/31/11, and have been having regular periods since March, starting usually around the first and 27th of the month. The last was due on may 27th and has still not shown up. Even before depo I was regular.
I took one pregnancy test a few days ago and it came beck neg. So if I'm not preggo I have no idea what else it could be.

I'm not on depo provera I am just taking the tablet everyday. I haven't missed a tablet and I'm on the highest does to stop bleeding, and I would not have a clue when my period would occur in the month as I was all over the place and had extremely long ones such as 48days. Yeah I had unsafe sex but he pulled out a little while before anything happend... how long after falling pregnant would I start to have symptoms though?
l was on the Depo provera for the past 6months.My last injection expired on the 4th of november 2008 and l did not
go for onether dose because l want to get pregnant. l have been bleeding eversince ( 4 november ) and the bleedings vary. Sometimes its spooting or light to heavy bleeding.and am expriencing low abdorminal pains ( cramps ) and bach pain. Blood is sometimes brownish in colour. Neausea is also a problem .
I was on the depo provera shot and I was due for my shot Aug 15-27 my boyfriend and I were sexually active we didn't use protection my period was due on the 30th and I am 28 days late. I took 3 pregnancy test and they came out negative I'vebeen having some symptoms like food cravings, neasous, lower back pains, tender boobs, I had a discharge about a week after my missed period.
