Flea collars don't work. Some have the capability to cause allergic reaction in cats. I've had that experience. Don't waste any more money on that. I would suggest that you call pest control. Hi, It def sounds like fleas dog fleas are quite docile so you might not see them move as much as you would a cat flea you get different types of fleas on dogs like hedgehog fleas which rarely jump shampoo and spray doesnt really work as you need to stop them breeding you can get a tablet or liquid capsule from your vet which is designed to make the flea infertile they dont live for very long and if you stop them breeding you solve the flea problem the flea will only live for 20 to 30 days you

Ok so for about 3 weeks now I have had an itchy scalp. I thought it was just from dandruff, which I get from this time of year, along with an itchy scalp. However, twice I have found centimeter-sized bugs in my hair when I was taking a shower. It could be a few things. First off only 1 type of mange is contagious (sarcoptic aka: scabies) It could be demodectic mange or a bacterial infection which needs to be dealt with asap! Either way get to a vet. They need to do some deep skin scrapes and view them under the microscope to see if it's demodex. Depending on your dogs breed type they can treat with either ivermectin or dips. It is a long treatment but necessary for quality of life!

Can dogs be bothered by what other things that are passed to humans or live in, on, furnature, beds, cloth chairs, on paper, etc. I have had this problem now for over a year, and every time the cousin comes over it gets worse. ve used Frontline on my 3 dogs for years and not once had a flea. You need to do something asap. Fleas in your house whether u keep the pet or not are hard to get rid of.

The tapeworms are only in the dogs. If your dog swallow a flea or flea egg he could get tapeworms....so watch his poop. You will see them in it. Gross!! If this happens the vet can give you medicine for the tapeworm. But the flea bite won't do anything to you. Also wash your bedding and any blankets taht the dog may have come in contact with.

t forget that you can also help by keeping a strict Poo Patrol schedule. If your dogs are still carrying eggs, you have to get rid of their poo, so get those baggies ready!
