Here is the article I was referring to. I hadn't remembered that it addresses nonalcoholic steatohepatitis and not simple fatty liver so it may not be as applicable as I thought. Nevertheless I will post it.

At the same time that this was switched, I was also taken off of Celexa (10mg daily) which was being used as an add-on treatment for the Effexor. We stopped the Celexa due to severe bruising and nose bleeds. Is it possible that I just having withdrawal from the Celexa or can it be the Generic Effexor. At this point in time I do not feel that I am incontrol and I do not feel "safe" being on my own. Any insight would be appreciated.

I found Celexa to numb feeling, more than it lifted them. I had to stop taking it because I turned into an icequeen and couldn't feel any emotions.

What they did was cut Celexa in half to create Lexapro, and thus were able to get a new patent. Celexa is a lot cheaper, therefore. If Celexa is working, I probably wouldn't switch; if it isn't, then I probably would.

Should a patient be on zoloft and celexa at the same time. I have a patient on celexa 20mg that started 5/17/11. She was previously on Zoloft 200mg daily that has been decreased to 100mg daily x7 days then 50mg x7days then d/c. My problem is this combination of the two. I finished 48 weeks on a study using boceprevir, and have been off it for 10 weeks. I found out that I have relapsed after the 4 week test post treatment. Been taking 30 mg of celexa for just over 4 weeks for anxiety....had dry mouth and a little fogginess for the first couple of weeks but that has worn off. I'm much better than I was without the celexa but still think it needs more time (or possible dosage adjustment)....been wondering if I should try lexapro but hate to change since I'm so far into the celexa. No ED for me....but was warned it was a possibility.

I believed the literature given out with the drug and started taking it. I wish I never started. Their clinical trials only show that short term use doesn't seem to cause weight gain. for something to help me deal with anxiety/anger sides that I have been dealing with for almost 2 months. She prescribed Celexa and I started it on Thursday night and have been really nauseous along with a fuzzy almost headache ever since. I really need to start again a SSRI for my extreme panic disorder and I want to know if the Celexa will work to stop the panic disorder, since I took it for my social phobia at 60 mg/day back in 1999 for 6 months and it did nothing for the social anxiety and my anxiety level didn't improve on it?

lexapro pooped out after many years. i am menopausal and having severe anxiety attacks. ativan for temp. since it's highly addictive. what is better celexa vs zoloft. am confused and scared on stopping ativan and lexapro then adding another med on top of it all. plus i gotta go back to work after the labor day weekend.

Update. I got Remeron added to my Celexa (later will remove Celexa) and feel just like my old self again. I can't believe it! I thought I would never come out of that state of mind. No more Klonopin too.
