I was in a very similar situation a few days ago... except i had a sore throat the day before i performed cunnilingus, and was worried about the possibility of me having an std... anyway, went to the doctors today and he said i had a sinus infection which led to post nasal drips and that's what was causing my problems.

Hello. My urethra is extrememly swollen and painfull. It is not a UTI, herpes or and STD just had my physical 6 weeks ago. It has been painfull off and on for 6 months. The first Dr. prescribed cefprozil. It didn't do anything. The second Dr. gave me an antifungal with anti-iflammatory cream. It helps slightly but everything is still extremely swollen. I am worried it might be something more serious? I have no discharge.

My son who just turned 1 years old a few weeks ago has had stye like bumps on his eye lids for almost 5 weeks now. He actually has four, one on each lid and they are pretty close to the lids. I've been using topical eye ointment and warm compress for many weeks now and they sometimes appear to be getting better, then worse again and have not yet gone away. Now his lids are pretty swollen and red and I've started giving him oral anitbiotics (Cefprozil) which are prescribed for 10 days.

I also had a dull pain in my lower abdomen and was worried about a bladder infection because I've had a few of them this summer. I went to one doctor and he said he thought it was nothing and gave me some fucidin cream with a steroid. I also asked him to take a urine sample as I was worried about an infection. I was very active for the next couple of days and walking around a lot.

Any cuts or nicks on the skin which could have been caused by scratching or any manipulation on the skin may facilitate spread of any bacterial infection. Another differential may be HSV type infection. Have you been assessed also along this line?

16 weeks and now I have a sinus infection. My nose is draining so bad and my throat is dry and scratchy. What are some good remedies you ladies know of to help this pass along quicker?

Ok guys I have a sinus infection. I called the on call dr and they said to take Tylenol cold and flu. I am a little skeptical to take the Meds cause of some of the ingridents. However my temp keeps fluctuating from 98-100 and I know I need to keep my temp down.

I went to the doctor a few days ago, he gave to do x ray. It turned out that i have sinus infection. He gave me antibiotics. Will antibiotics (twice a day for 7 days) help to make the infection go? Why did i get sinus infection? I am a 22 years old healthy male.

Hello ladies. I'm 35+4 with a sinus infection. When I went to the clinic earlier today I didn't have a fever, but now I have had a low grade temp. I took pain meds like they told me to help with the sinus pressure pain and if I get a fever and so far it is controlling it, but when will my fever be harmful to my baby? I have a sinus infection too. Have had it for 10 days :( I went to the er last Friday and they gave me a z-pack and I finished it Friday and I still am having problems. My doc said once you hit the 2nd trimester, you will have more sinus problems bc of blood flow or something..

I started with a bloody nose maybe in middle of Feburary. I felt a little congested but not bad. By the end of Feb I broke out with the worst sinus infection in my life! I was draining everywhere. Heres how it started the day before I got sick I was eating dinner and felt as tho I got something caught in my throat. I went to the doc the following day and she said ooh its something viral. The following day I had nothing but drainage from head to ears to nose.

Dunno about the sinus infection, but anything with ginger in it is fantastic for the morning sickness, I used to go around with a pack of ginger nut biscuitsin my handbag, just one little nibble with stop it instantly, you could also try ginger tea :-)

This is a condition seldom discussed around the water cooler, unless you're a med student, so I have to wonder where you came up with this possibility. You said the area under your left eye "hurts," which leads me to suspect a possible sinus infection.

Could this indeed be a sinus infection caused by the abcess? Could I have ruptured a sinus during that coughing spell? Could the sinus infection b taking this long to clear up? The headaches are all on my left side. There's sensitivity on the inside of my nose (on that side) and up into my left temple. The pain intensifies upon movement, coughing, sneezing, and bending over. I feel like I have fluid on my ear still as well.
