cefzil sinus infection

I was given a new antidepressant and anti psychotic, and was feeling almost normal, when I came down with a sinus infection. On Monday, I went to the doctor. I was given a sinus cocktail shot, which contains benadryl and steroids, and cefzil which is an antibiotic. By Tues afternoon, I was starting to feel nervous and antsy. Now, Wed morning, I am very sleepy, shaky, crying and feel like I am jumping out of my skin.

It is currently nothing that is bothersome, although this past month I developed an edematous cheek (possible sinus infection - of which I have never had) and was placed on cefzil. I have responded well to the antiobiotic and the edema is starting to subside. The lesion did bother me at the onset of infection - more an awareness, than pain. That could be in part due to the fact that it has grown significantly in the last 3/52.

A few days ago I woke up with pain on my lower eyelid, on the outer corner. It lasted all day, and then when I went to sleep, I woke up with no pain. That day I was fine. So I went to sleep and yesterday woke up with the inner corner in pain and swollen. It hurt all day and today I woke up with it even more swollen and red and painful.

My eight year old is allergic to amoxicillin, zithromax, clindamycin, and cefzil. We have seen an allergist, and he said there are no tests for antibiotics and that "we have a problem." Can someone please guide me in what to do next? My doctor was hoping the allergist would help guide us for future treatments. I am fearful for any infection like strep throat, ear or skin infections, we have run out of options.

My 10 year old has been diagnosed at a childrens hospital with asthma about 4 years ago As an infant I had been given an inhaler and mask for her because she was wheezing after throwing up her formula which she did often .

16 weeks and now I have a sinus infection. My nose is draining so bad and my throat is dry and scratchy. What are some good remedies you ladies know of to help this pass along quicker?

Ok guys I have a sinus infection. I called the on call dr and they said to take Tylenol cold and flu. I am a little skeptical to take the Meds cause of some of the ingridents. However my temp keeps fluctuating from 98-100 and I know I need to keep my temp down.

I went to the doctor a few days ago, he gave to do x ray. It turned out that i have sinus infection. He gave me antibiotics. Will antibiotics (twice a day for 7 days) help to make the infection go? Why did i get sinus infection? I am a 22 years old healthy male.

Hello ladies. I'm 35+4 with a sinus infection. When I went to the clinic earlier today I didn't have a fever, but now I have had a low grade temp. I took pain meds like they told me to help with the sinus pressure pain and if I get a fever and so far it is controlling it, but when will my fever be harmful to my baby? I started with a bloody nose maybe in middle of Feburary. I felt a little congested but not bad. By the end of Feb I broke out with the worst sinus infection in my life! I was draining everywhere. Dunno about the sinus infection, but anything with ginger in it is fantastic for the morning sickness, I used to go around with a pack of ginger nut biscuitsin my handbag, just one little nibble with stop it instantly, you could also try ginger tea :-)

This is a condition seldom discussed around the water cooler, unless you're a med student, so I have to wonder where you came up with this possibility. You said the area under your left eye "hurts," which leads me to suspect a possible sinus infection.
