It is not a UTI, herpes or and STD just had my physical 6 weeks ago. It has been painfull off and on for 6 months. The first Dr. prescribed cefprozil. It didn't do anything. The second Dr. gave me an antifungal with anti-iflammatory cream. It helps slightly but everything is still extremely swollen. I am worried it might be something more serious? I have no discharge. Could it be a yeast infection, can they cause severe pain and swelling?
My son who just turned 1 years old a few weeks ago has had stye like bumps on his eye lids for almost 5 weeks now. He actually has four, one on each lid and they are pretty close to the lids. I've been using topical eye ointment and warm compress for many weeks now and they sometimes appear to be getting better, then worse again and have not yet gone away. Now his lids are pretty swollen and red and I've started giving him oral anitbiotics (Cefprozil) which are prescribed for 10 days.
This all started when I waxed my genital area at home by myself. When I ripped the wax off I ripped the skin a bit on both sides of my labia minora. I also ripped off some skin from an ingrown hair. I used an alcohol swab to remove the rest of the wax and I used hydrogen peroxide on the tears and the one spot. Then I put some polysporin on the tears.
Later that evening I had sex with a new guy. He told me that he hadn't been with anyone for 2 years.
I have had a strange pain in my left arm and leg for about a week now. I originally went to the Dr.'s last week due to an ear ache in my left ear. I was given Apo-Cefprozil - two days later my leg felt weird ( by the achilles tendant) -I shrugged this off as I have recently began running a lot. The next day my toes were tingling and the pain was also in my arm ( feels like carpal tunnel). My first thought was that my medication was too strong (500 mg twice a day).
I posted this originally in the HIV forum and was told it was No risk for HIV so I would like to see if the STD risk is likely.
I recently performed cunnilingus on a female whose health is unknown to me. A few days later I began to feel ill with sore throat, head ache, stomach ache. Is it possible that I was infected with an STD? If so, is there one that would be more common via oral sex? From what I have read it seems that gonorrhea (of the throat) is a possibility? what do you think?

Are you taking any medications for this? With the way you describe the skin condition, this sounds like impetigo. "Impetigo starts as a red sore that quickly ruptures, oozes for a few days and then forms a yellowish-brown crust that looks like honey or brown sugar. The doctor said that because his prescription is so severe, he wants him to wear the glasses all the time and to cover his good eye with a patch for 8 hours a day for a year and half at least, which it bothers him tremendously. Any other suggestion in this matter?
How do I get my son to wear the patch? and do you think it is too early for an astigmatism to be detected? Will his vision benefit from the glasses and the patch? Any advice on how to get him used to them?
I have 11 Cefprozil 500mg and 10 Clindamycin 150mg. Will these antibiotics help me? I've already begun drinking as much water as I can.
m just wondering what are the main reason why some woman have many children?My mother has 7 children and she seems overworked and tired but she does'nt seem to show an regret at all.Is it related to educational level or childhood experience?My mother started work in a textile facotry when she was just 13 and stopped her formal education then.She also said she was teased in school and felt lonely.

I think that is probably the most damaging stage of grief for children. As adults, we understand that anger is part of the process, but a child can become emotionally crippled because they can't understand how they can be so angry, even feel hatred, towards someone they love so much.
I'm sure his mother is trying her best to comfort him, but I know how difficult it is when you're in so much pain yourself.
