Thank you for your reply. I have an appointment on Tuesday with an opthamologist but someone mentioned to me that it may be MRSA, since he's on the second antibiotic and it doesn't seem to be working. He had an ear infection about 5 weeks ago now and was given antibiotics for that. That is around the same time that he developed the styes. Do you think it's possible for it to be MRSA? Should I be seeing a doctor sooner than Tuesday? I appreaciate your advice.
I have had a strange pain in my left arm and leg for about a week now. I originally went to the Dr.'s last week due to an ear ache in my left ear. I was given Apo-Cefprozil - two days later my leg felt weird ( by the achilles tendant) -I shrugged this off as I have recently began running a lot. The next day my toes were tingling and the pain was also in my arm ( feels like carpal tunnel). My first thought was that my medication was too strong (500 mg twice a day).
Hello. My urethra is extrememly swollen and painfull. It is not a UTI, herpes or and STD just had my physical 6 weeks ago. It has been painfull off and on for 6 months. The first Dr. prescribed cefprozil. It didn't do anything. The second Dr. gave me an antifungal with anti-iflammatory cream. It helps slightly but everything is still extremely swollen. I am worried it might be something more serious? I have no discharge.
t painful or itchy but they we red with white on some and others just looked like a little crater. I also had a dull pain in my lower abdomen and was worried about a bladder infection because I've had a few of them this summer.
I went to one doctor and he said he thought it was nothing and gave me some fucidin cream with a steroid.
I also asked him to take a urine sample as I was worried about an infection.
I was very active for the next couple of days and walking around a lot.
Since he prescribed Amoxicillin 825 I just hoped it would cure any infection I have. After 5 days on it my headache is gone but the sore throat is still the same. Is there any chance that the cunnilingus I performed has infected me with gonorrhea, chlymidia, or syphilis in my throat? I have no symptoms related to urinating or discharge from my penis. Help. has anyone on here had an ear infection during pregnancy? I'm 34 weeks and in constant pain, but am trying to avoid the hospital unless I absolutely need to. Is there any home remedies I can try?

we ear pierced my daughter in 10months.after 3 days the ear ring from left came out accidentally.then we tried hard to put it back as it caused pain to her.after that we can watch some watery fluid coming out but not too much.now she is 2+ years, same ear starts to creat a itchy sensation,watering sometimes so she started to scratch resulting in small bruises around the pierced hole.now the skin lookes pinkish and so delicate.

She has been the perfect addition to our family. My question is regarding her vet check up. The vet diagnosed an ear infection and recommended a bacterial gram stain. I was surprised that she refused to treat the ear infection unless the gram stain was performed. When a human has an ear infection the doctor seldom does a culture. I believe you are having Otitis Externa, i.e. infection of the external ear. Touching the ear or pulling it causes tremendous pain. The skin is adherent firmly to the cartilage of external auditory canal. The initiating event is believed to be an abrogation of the hydrophobic ceruminous coating of the external canal. Swelling occurring due to inflammation stretches nerve fibers and cause extreme amount of pain.

On Jan 13 I had muffled sound and a little pain in my right ear, that night it got worse. I felt the right side of my face swollen and had pain in my ear which did not allow me to sleep at all. I got some antibiotics by Thursday evening and was feeling a lot better by the 16th.
It itches very bad and is just inside the inner canal. White crusty flakes come out into my ear. The doctor gave me ear drops, but it seems to just make it drier. My wife has been putting monistat cream in there with a Q-tip which makes it feel better.
Do you know what medication I can use to permanently get rid of this? We live in a very low humidity area and it is very dry here.
