cefdinir ear infection

was just diagnosed last wednesday with the flu, and then yesterday 5 days later was diagnosed with a sinus and ear infection. for the last couple of days i have had really bad vertigo wether I am standing or sitting, feels kinda like I am drunk all day long, and really spiking my anxiety. I was put on cefdinir but have not even been on it a full 24 hours yet. I was wondering two things.

i took him to the dr tuesday and he had a double ear infrceion. she put him on CEFDINIR and said there was a 5% chance hed have reation and wednesday (after 3 doses) he broke out in an awful rash. just like he did when he was 11 months old from the penicillin,. he is 2 and a half now. I took him to the dr and we stopped the medicine and i began the 4-6 hrs of benadryl i just want to know how long will he continue to break out? he goes between 6-8 hours and then will break out.

ll have a better idea of what to do to treat a bacterial infection in his ears the next time it occurs. (Before this last ear infection, I only knew how to treat ear congestion from a virus: The homeopathic treatments clear up the congestion and ear pain within 2 days.) Are there any studies that might attribute inner ear congestion with eye-rolling tics?

Now have a possible sinus infection and doctor gave me Cefdinir. Two days into the medication, my neuropathy symptoms have increased. The burning, needle like sensations and numbness. I do not want to go through that nightmare again. So I stopped taking the antibiotic and am waiting to hear from my doctor for an alternative drug. Is this considered an allergic reaction or a severe symptom. Anyway to know which antibiotics I can use and not have this reaction.

Endodonist said there was pus -- infection. I have had allergic reaction to Levaquin and AzitheraI and have had side effects diarrhea and lightheaded from Cefdinir and Cephalexin so he prescribed Cipro 500mg. Said he doesn't usually prescribe but given that it have taken Cipro 250mg in the past (or urinary tract infection with no side effects. Is Cipro as effective as other antibiotics for dental infection?

I took a 10 panel std test prior to the test I was taking Cefdinir although I stopped taking it 5 days before testing would the cefdinir affect the results which were negative.

I was prescribed amoxicillin and was feeling much better on day 3 until I developed a horrible yeast infection. I was then prescribed the one dose of fluconazole and the yeast infection was cleared. My original symptoms were gone so I didn't bother taking the rest of the antibiotic. (I know, my fault). Today we had the consult with the ENT. He said her ear drums are retracting so she has no pressure in the tubes. In addition since she can't really breathe through her nose due to blockage his final recommendation is - tubes, both ears and removal of the adnoids.

I went back again on the 6th and was told my throat was read, some drainage from my nose, and my eardrum was real swollow in my right ear and really red in the left ear. I hear the risk is low with oral sex but I don't have the best oral health I have a calcium buildup and bleeding gums with I brush. The ER doctor checked me for Mono and it was negative. I am really afraid and I was giving a antibiotic called Cefdinir to take for 7 days two times a day. I am really worried.

s hospital where they treated him for pneumonia for 2 days then sent home to take Cefdinir for 12 days. Once the 12 days were over he once again started with the high fever and his cough never left. His doctor did x-rays once again and put him back on Cefdinir for 10 days. He ended up going back to Children's E.R. where they said he had decreased air movement in his lower left lobe and put him on Amox-Clav ES for 14 days. He is still running fever with a wet cough.

The Azithromycin did not clear the sinus infection so i was put on Cefdinir at 300 mg twice a day for one week. My hope was that if i had anything one of these two antibiotics would clear it up. Yesterday i went to doctor due to still having the burning after urination. I was given a pee test and then prescibed 10 days of Cipro 500 mg twice a day. I do not think they tested me for any stds but i was diagnosed with a UTI.

Also, about 1 week before the spots appeared, I was taking the antibiotic Cefdinir for a throat infection, which may have actually been mono.

m doing. the supplements enhance the effectiveness of the antibiotics and the 2nd antibiotic (cefdinir) is to go after the lyme. we know there is nothing here to treat the cyst form of lyme but the Dr. didn't want to put me on any more medicines at this time.

has anyone on here had an ear infection during pregnancy? I'm 34 weeks and in constant pain, but am trying to avoid the hospital unless I absolutely need to. Is there any home remedies I can try?

Any ladies have an ear infection while pg? I, of course, can't get ahold of my dr or her assistant to ask what is safe to take for an ear infection!

we ear pierced my daughter in 10months.after 3 days the ear ring from left came out accidentally.then we tried hard to put it back as it caused pain to her.after that we can watch some watery fluid coming out but not too much.now she is 2+ years, same ear starts to creat a itchy sensation,watering sometimes so she started to scratch resulting in small bruises around the pierced hole.now the skin lookes pinkish and so delicate.

Gary has gone through a sinus infection, bronchitis, coxsakie, stomach bug, and now an ear infection in the past couple months. I have an 8 year old Saint Bernard. He has always had bad ears with chronic yeast infectons. However for the past month he has had this horrible odor( not yeast) coming from his ear.
