On the surface, I think it is smart to expect certain things out of the father of our children.
Well I am entering my first year in college and my girlfriend is doing the same thing. We are going to schools 6 hours apart and she is playing a sport there. We've been dating for 5 months but we've been best friends forever. I know everything about her as she does of me, we have actual life conversations and stuff. It's not like a normal highschool relationship. When we agreed to start dating, I was adamant on no long distance relationship.
very controlling so, i decided that i no longer wanted to be with him. His actions made me resent him. Even after the break up he continued to harrass me and continued to be obsessive. After the relationship ended, i started dating one of the most amazing guys ever. He's nothing like he was and i love him to death. Well, me and my last boyfriend have been seperated since the beginning of January & i found out on the 14th of feb that I was 6 to 8 weeks pregnant.
) My friends are pretty ticked off at him, and they say I am making excuses for him by understanding how he could end up dating- I mean, I think it is crazy he is dating, but I get that he is lonely and sad, and wants to fill that void. I refuse to confront him, which also irritates my friends. I don't think confronting him will do anyone any good. He has to figure out his own stuff in his own time.

3 weeks ago I was on my online dating account, and he pops up as a message. I won’t deny my excitement. He simply said he had seen me pop up and wanted to say hello and hopes I am well. I responded surprised to see you here. He told me he had met someone but she’d broken his heart.

Im lovig the advice they gave you. And i feel the same way. Guys now run from things they should be standing aside... Honey let go... he may come back , and he may not but hold your head up fir your baby.
She is not the type of girl who wants to be in a relationship at this point in time. I feel that if you get involved with her, you are just setting yourself up to be heartbroken.
After dating 3 months, that is sufficient time to decide weather you want to be exclusive or not and this is what I see:

I had a break up approx 6 weeks ago. I thought this was the gal i was going to marry. we were together for 2 years, at times it was on/off but never truly off. This time it is off! I know she has found someone else and i have not. I can not seem to shake the feelings of missing her, at times it really hurts. I have been divorced for 12 years. My kids are 18, 17 and 15. Their mother has quite a few mental challenges.
So me and my bd have been dating on and off for six years. We got back together about a year & a half ago and this go round hasn't been so great. I'm 4 and a half months pregnant but the last 6 months of our relationship have been complete hell. He's been in and out of jail and just got out yesterday for the 3rd time. He went when we first found out about this pregnancy so he was there a little over 2 months.
When I found out I was pregnant, my baby's father was hooked and drugs and him and his family wanted nothing to do with us. About two months later I met a very nice man and fell in love. He has been with me throughout this whole pregnancy, and wants to be there for her like a dad. There are men who will accept you while your pregnant. Good luck on everything!
s equal partner and able to discuss something that bothers you without them breaking up or if they DO break up, realizing that dating is for learning what we need to know about someone to see if the relationship should move to the next level. A guy who doesn't care about your feelings is not long term dating material. good luck!!
