Body skin toner

Common Questions and Answers about Body skin toner

Avatar m tn Of the several beauty products that I have tried lately, the facial toner from Sakare was by far the best that I could lay my hand at This beauty of a store located on Bond Street has an enviable collection of skincare and body care products that can change the way you feel about yourself.
Avatar f tn Can you return to your prior regimen? Cetaphil makes the most mild facial cream cleanser. Neutrogena makes a no-alcohol toner, but The Body Shop has a Vitamin E Toner and an Aloe Vera Toner that work well without drying. Find a light, non-oily moisturizer (like Boots or Olay) for the day and a night cream (like Boots bergamot night cream or The Body Shop Aloe night cream). All of these products are under $15 ea.
Avatar f tn I have an oily & sensitive skin. What kind of cleanser, moisturizer and night cream should i use? I want to use a lightening cream, is it save for my sensitive skin?
Avatar f tn A mild cleanser (such as Neutrogena's grapefruit acne wash), a alcohol-free toner (such as Boots, Neutrogena, or the Body Shop), and a quality facial moisturizer (such as Boots, the Body Shop, Olay, Aveeno) should be used day and night. Rinse your face with cold water to reduce redness and inflammation. If you wear make-up, look for non-acneic or non-comdegenic labels and never go to bed with it on.
Avatar m tn its okay to wax and all but i always my skin was clean and clear like others i just hate to see hair on any body part except my scalp i start using tweezers or my hand every chance i get i don't use can't remove them.but what do i do about my eyes which scan every inch of my skin..........come hell or hay..i have to pluck my therapist told me start learning to delay it and gradually it'll work its worsened..................... i have ruined my underarm skin.....
1495437 tn?1288802515 Niacin has some interesting bonding properties to antioxidants and their release, and if you're going to increase circulation, you want to make sure what you're circulating are things that will help your body and your skin. Detox for a week, avoid sugars, bad fats, get your daily vitamins, and lots of water vegtables w potassium like cucumber, romaine, & celery. Then try the Niacin at a VERY low dose, you'll get a slight flush, like s mild sunburn.
Avatar f tn Also the moisturizer may seem unnecessary if your skin is already oily but if your skin is not getting the moisture it needs, your body tells your oil producing skin cells to work overtime and produce more, therefore causing oily skin. So giving your skin proper moisture will actually cause your skin to have to produce less oils making your skin not as oily. Now that goes for your hair too.
Avatar f tn Ok so I'm 14wks 1day n I've been breaking out like crazy all over my body. I've never had bad skin so this is crazy, my face is so dry rite now , I don't kno what to do . It seems like nuthin helps !!! Any advice??
Avatar f tn Okay so start off with eating a healthy diet. What you put in your body shows through your skin so if you're eating clean healthy foods your skin will show that but if you are eating junk food your face will start to look like that pizza you had. Next is getting all the toxins out of your body (they will cause acne).
Avatar f tn Next I use MaryKay's #3 Blemish Control Toner from their basic skin care collection. It contains salicylic acid that unclogs pores. I've tried a lot of salicylic acid products on the market and this works the best. I think it's worth mentioning that I do not use MaryKay's facial cleanser because it does clog my pores. After that I use MaryKay's #3 Oil Control Lotion from the same collection. It will moisturize without clogging your pores. I love it, love it, love it.
770551 tn?1305582501 Mix EVOO, lemon juice and sugar into a paste and scrub. Good on any part of your body where you have dry dead skin. Try on your legs before shaving for a closer shave. (avoid eye areas). I now spend in a year the same amount as I used to spend in a month on Scrubs, Toners, Make Up Removers, Masks, Zit Treatment, Overnight Moisturizers, ETC.
Avatar n tn My skin on my face now looks like an orange peel and although I don't have blackheads on my body, all the pores are dark looking, and my skin texture has gone very rough. The skin on my face is extremely greasy. Does anybody know what can be done about this? Any advice desperately appreciated.
Avatar n tn This darkening occurs when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin. Treatment involves hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. Pls discuss these options with your dermatologist before using them. Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Warm regards.
Avatar f tn It contains essential oils known for their antimicrobial  properties so i decided to apply it to my skin by saturating cotton rounds and applying it like you would a facial toner. This magical liquid did more for my skin in one day than the typical OTC antifungals had done in months (yes, MONTHS). I even pour some in my bath along with organic coconut oil (another antifungal) and Epsom salt (replaces magnesium in the body and eases discomfort by drawing out toxins).
Avatar f tn Maybe add the Nuetrogena Oil Free Acne Wash with Pink Grapefruit and salicylic acid, an alcohol-free toner (like Neutrogena or The Body Shop Vitamin E or The Body Shop Aloe Toners), and a quality night creme (like The Body Shop Aloe night creme or Boots bergamot night creme) to your night regimen. Each are under $15. It'll probably take about a month to see results. If this doesn't do the trick for you, look internally.
Avatar f tn I use proactiv. They have a body wash as well as their face wash. It will dry out your skin but it works.
Avatar n tn Other treatments to consider include microdermabrasion, skin resurfacing lasers and chemical skin peels. In my opinion you should discuss these treatment options with a cosmetologist/dermatologist. I hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

Avatar n tn Treatments vary from melanin blocking agents combined with topical medications such as Retin A which causes the body to exfoliate the skin to rid the body of the hyperpigmentation while prohibiting new melanin production to laser treatments. Hydroquinone usually reduces or removes hyperpigmentations very effectively. It is a bleaching agent. Also always use sunscreen/sunblock as dark areas on exposure to sunlight turn darker still.
Avatar f tn Keeping your skin clean is a start but over cleansing will actualy stimulate the pores to produce more oil (not good) also I used to be a toner freak, I'd use toner 3-4 times a day because it made my skin feel clean and the tingley which made me feel like it was doing something.
Avatar f tn Ive gone back to using ProActiv and the first night I used it, my skin felt a little irriatated after the toner application. The next day my face was itchy and felt like it was getting tighter. I noticed little bumps that turned into little white pimples. its all over my chin and some appear on my cheeks. To make things worse, I naired my upper lip (haha) and i thnk it irritated my skin a little more.
Avatar f tn Its helped immensely with my hormonal acne lol the sugar scrubs the dead skin away and the lemon refines your pores and tones your skin, and the olive oil keeps your skin soft. You can even substitute with brown sugar for a finer scrub, or lime or fresh squeezed orange juice. Like i said its worked wonders for this pregnancy acne! Give it a try! Its practically free!
Avatar f tn sometimes they appear all over my face and leave scars and skin is getn rough ..pores r opening ..plz plz answer me what should i do..i want to make my skin glowing ..should i try vitamin capsule....
Avatar f tn The excessive oiliness of the skin is in turn triggered by the hormonal changes in the body. Large pores can be easily dealt with proper cleansing and frequent toning and moisturizing of the skin. Other treatments to consider include microdermabrasion, skin resurfacing lasers and chemical skin peels. In my opinion you should discuss these treatment options with a cosmetologist/dermatologist. Hope it helps.
Avatar n tn They gave me super super oily skin. I started using retinoids when I was 14 years old and my skin was normal except for acne, and now I"m 19 and I stopped using them. My skin was oily all through my time using the retinoids but now that I'm off them my skin is still freakin oily. I've been off the retinoids for almost three months now. It doesn't make any sense to me at all. Their is not a dern thing the dermatologist can do about super oily skin. Anybody ever had this problem???
Avatar f tn since turning 25 it's came back with avengance, my skin has never been so bad! I do have combination skin anyway but it's gone insane lately, make up is flaking off, my scars from teenage acne look worse & need to be covered with foundation & concealer, a few months ago foundation would do the trick, my pores are definately getting bigger! I'm currently using Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser, dermalogica toner & Liz Earle moisturiser!
Avatar n tn I put this mask on my face yesterday for 10 minutes to help my dry skin. i rinsed it off after 10 minutes like it said to do but when i did i got red splotches all over my face and my face became even more dry. i can't even touch my face without it hurting, and i need a way to make this rash, or whatever it is, on my face go away. i have really sensitive skin, which could be one of the reasons this happened. thanks so much!!
Avatar n tn You need to ensure that your body has enough iron. You need to protect your skin by using sunscreen before you go out. Please do not try the lemon idea for it is acidic, it burns your skin in a long term process and in the future it will get worse. Use sunscreen and apply cold creams, stop excessive makeup usage and do not wax or pluck hair near your moustache, try threading and DO NOT bleach.
Avatar f tn There is alot of research out there about foods that cause acne. Since our skin is technically an organ, then how it feels is affected by what we put into our body. It has also been said that skin is like a second "kidney" so when there are toxins in the body they are flushed out by the kidneys and the skin (the second kidney). Check into food allergies that can cause acne (dairy products are a big cause), and yeast.
Avatar n tn I don't know what to do. I've tried Body Shop tea tree face wash, also tea tree oil spot treatment, benzoyl peroxide, sebamed clearface anti-pimple cream, clinique acne treament, and none worked :'( Anyone have any suggestion? I don't think I've been under more stress than usual, as for diet, I might have a slight decrease in vege intake, but no increased caffeine, or alcohol or sugary intake. I don't smoke, and drink occasionally.
