Avatar n tn I would then expect to have fever from viral infections. There are times that only certain areas of my body like for example the left side skin of my left leg or arm feel sore to touch. I believe that this happens when my body is trying to fight the virus in my system. And so I double my dose of Moringa Oleifera vitamins every time I feel like having colds and fever.
Avatar n tn Since water makes up a good portion of our body and fills out our skin, I'm wondering if this why your skin has suddenly become so drawn? Try keeping yourself very well hydrated (not overly as that can create some really bad problems in and of itself...perhaps, 8 oz per hour for a bit). Perhaps, something with electolytes in it like a sports drink (NO cafeine). Gatoraide or one of those might work. Don't overdo those either. One or two per day and lots of water.

Avatar n tn I walk my dog for atleast an hour every morning and also run with him in the afternoon playing in the backyard, yet I can feel all my jeans tightening and my body is getting bigger. Avatar f tn Kernel corn is full of water and simple sugars- your body can take a lot out of the corn at that point- the skin and fiber are all that's left, but corn flour and processed foods may contain a lot more starch than whole corn- there's a volume issue of indigestible food in you at that point. I wish I had more concrete answers for you, but for now, it sounds like you need to avoid the processed forms of corn products where you can.

Avatar f tn it is like a little electric current that travels upward about 1 inch under my skin. I actually hear a pop sound in my ears when this occurs. I also have sore jaws from clamping down hard with my teeth when I sleep. I wear a night guard on my teeth at night to prevent grinding but my jaws stay terribly sore. My dr. says that it is all due to stress. Which I agree because I have been going through a terrible time with something that has happened to me. But the muscle twitches are very scarey!
Avatar n tn Here's a good website for the kind of help you are looking for: Doctors that are telling women that babies are "full-term" at anything other than 40 weeks need to go back to school! Lungs are not fully developed until very close to 40 weeks (formed yes, but not developed) and some babies take a little longer than 40 weeks. Which is why some babies are born earlier than others. Babies come when they are ready.
Avatar n tn Come to think of it, when reading about Demodex mites the symptoms began to hit home, I do notice that my skin is alittle sensitive and I do have patches of red crop up if i scratch myself. But its a very distinct red, like someone applied lipstick to my forehead. I have a very pale white complexion so it really shows when I have these red patches appear.

Avatar n tn Afterall, childbirth can do a lot of damage to a womans body. But others have also recommended increasing water intake and electrolyte suppliments of some sort. 429155 tn?1205676864 Just after Christmas 07 my 40mg 2x a day started, then I caught a virus, and was very ill, and it just would not go away, nausea, aches and pains all over, I blamed it all on this virus, never really suspecting the real culprit, yes you know don't you, it was because I had cut down on the oxycontin, and my body was craving it, this went on for 7 weeks, until one day it dawned on me what it was, by this time I had become tired all the time, getting up early and doing nothing, then backwards an
Avatar f tn I have had UTIs before, so I figured this was what it was, and went to my doctor for antibiotics. However, I was told that there was no sign of any bacteria in my urine sample, even after culturing it (along with no STDs, no pregnancy, and all those other commonly assumed causes when a 22 year old sexually active female is involved in just about anything in the medical community).
Avatar n tn This is just a thought. Fix and eat the same meal you had the other night, if it causes the pain again, then you know yours is related to food. If by chance you get another flair up like the other night, then go to the ER so at least they can get a blood level. Sometimes when the stomach is empty and ignored, it will activate the ducts to do their job and of course there is nothing to digest but the enzymes the ducts are producing.
Avatar n tn Your article was posted a few years ago and i'm not sure you will see this but I have the same exact problem. I am 47 and about 4 years ago my foot started swelling (mainly my left foot). I have been to every Dr. under the sun, orthopedist, cardiologist, allergist, gyno, etc. and had every test you can think of but no one can tell me why my foot is swollen. It's worse in the summer when it's hot or humid out. In the winter the swelling is minimal!

Avatar f tn Hi i am a 28 year old man from Manchester England and i was recently in a motorcycle accident. I was told i had been very lucky to not sustain any more injuries than i did at the time (heavy bruising & ground layers of skin from my knee cap). The bike landed on the right side of my body in the accident and 3 weeks later i have started to get burning pains in my right shoulder blade and under my arm-pit which feels like a skin burn as apposed to a burning under the surface of my skin.

Avatar n tn Any chronic condition will systematically imbalance the entire body affecting virtually every organ and every system of the body. It is a deadly disease and time is not on our side. The body does not get stronger with time, and virus will eventually catch up with everyone. If it doesn't destroy your liver, it will destroy your immunity, your kidneys, your blood, your brain, your peripheral nervous system, your muscles, joints, or wherever your weak spot is.

Avatar f tn Been to countless dermatologists and tried all kinds of expensive prescription creams, steroid creams, and regular OTC itch remedies--NOTHING has worked. I also tried acupuncture, chiropractic work, and diet changes. My only diagnosis, which is what I think it is, is brachioradial pruritis, but the only prescription for relief was more creams—no root of cause or lasting cure or solution. Only relief is ice.
