alcohol can cause low blood sugar levels for some due to its effect on the liver. But even more it can cause those person with diabetes to pay less attention to their health and blood sugars.
This does not mean you can never drink alcohol, But it should be taken in moderation only. When you do have a first drink (remember moderation) do it in the company of a trusted friend so you can safely see the effect it has on you.

Alcohol is harmful to the body - as is diabetes.
Eat foods that are high in antioxidents this will assist your liver with removing toxins from alcohol. Exercise will force blood in to the muscles pushing out the toxins as well. Do this a long with the water and you will be feeling and smelling much better.
If you ever drink again you will smell like this forever so don't do it! lol j/k I wish you the best!
I have just recently been diagnosed with diabetes - I am not on meds yet, have tried exercise and diet, lost weight, no sugar, etc.. but my blood sugar is just going up. I have an appt this week with my doc. I have noticed that once in awhile I am very sad in the mornings. Like I am missing someone is the only way I can describe it. The only thing I can think of is the few times this has happened I have had two or three beers the night before.
Everytime i drink alcohol i see blood clot in my blood too, so I stopped drinking alcohol completely. To test if it was tanbaco that really irritated my bladder, i used some tanbaco after 3 weeks and the night after that there it was again I saw the blood again in my urine. After that It's been around 3 weeks that i avoided anything that could irritate my bladder. yesterday i did another urine analysis and there was still microscopic blood in my urine.
This may sound like an odd question, but for our frat we are looking to have our initiation include us drinking a large cup filled with 90 proof alcohol and added a single drop of blood from 8 people. Is this safe? Will the alcohol kill diseases, pathogens, and bacteria in the blood? If this is not the right place to ask it please refer me to another place.
So I have been feeling a little funny and finally took a pregnancy test yesterday after not remembering the last time I had a period. Discouraged from our miscarriage in April I doubted that it would happen again so soon after all we have been trying for over 5 years. I have been drininking alot before I found out and am nervous about anything that could be wrong from the alcohol to the fetus.
I don't think there is a medical diagnosis for "alcoholism". They can check blood alcohol level, and they can check the organs to see if they've sustained damage from things like alcohol. For instance, a blood test would indicate whether your liver is working correctly ( at least at that moment in time. ). I would suggest reading the medical charts carefully to see what they actually diagnosed.
