Blood alcohol reference range

Common Questions and Answers about Blood alcohol reference range

alcohol

Avatar n tn Ethanol = alcohol. < 1.0 sounds like a reference range or cut off level for detection. Is this in relation to a urine test?
Avatar m tn What is the reference range (normal value) of prograf in the body (peak and Trough)?
1597714 tn?1299828089 Hi, does anyone know what the reference ranges are for thyroid tests? My doc told me I'm fine, and she gave me a copy of the report, but it doesn't list the reference range. It only lists my result. Here it is: TSH 0.74 FREE T4 15 FREE T3 4.
Avatar m tn In December 2010 my GP doc did blood work after my first ER visit and my a/g ratio was a 2.4 out of reference range of 1.2-2.2, so it was high. My alkaline phosphatase was 122 out of reference range of 39-117 IU/L, so it was also high. Albumin and bilirubin were normal. Went back to that GP again January 7, 2020 after another alarming ER visit. Metanephrines were 66 out of 0-62 range. Another January 2020 blood test showed an a/g ratio of 2.3 out of 1.2-2.2.

1315350 tn?1311602951 As far as blood tests were concerned, I had complete blood work done on two separate occasions (last July and repeat tests two weeks ago) were a positive Hep A (gastro said in February it was nothing to worry about) result and my AST and ALT are slightly above reference range, however, my AST and ALT results has always been slightly out of reference range (meaning 2 to 10 points above reference range) going back 20 years.
232921 tn?1224471661 All of the test were done by Quest , but this last test does not say real time PCR but rather QUANTITATIVE bDNA HCV RNA and the REFERENCE RANGE IS <615 IU/MLNAD it says under IN RANGE < 615 Should I get another test?my doc is out till next week . Does anyone know anything about this kind of result.
Avatar f tn on the paper work i got from the lab it shows that everything is within range. for ALT the reference range is 9-60 U/L. My question is this, since ive been searching ive seen that different labs have different reference ranges. do they test different? why wouldnt all labs have a standard range that everyone goes by? Im just curious like i said everything on the paper shows withen normal range. Any way to get alt range down in 40's?
Avatar f tn The reference range is different for mostly all tests manufactured by different companies. I noticed you've asked this question before, maybe not on this forum, but elsewhere. Are you HepC positive? The reference range for the AST(SGOT) test that I took was 0-40 and for the ALT(SGPT) is 0-45. As I previously stated it's different depending on who manufactured the test, meaning the mfg. may have a higher reference range. Case in point, it may not be as high as you think.
Avatar m tn but he said i am i chronic, and active, because my sgpt is not in normal range( sgpt-126 (normal range 12.00-78.00) i tell him that i am an alcohol user..this might the cause of my high sgpt.but to make it sure he will going to observe me.1 month with out alcohol and then i will come back to him with sgpt test again. ...In your own opinion doctor, according to my test result.how bad is my hep b?and this can be cure.?..thank you very much.
Avatar f tn >Thyroid Peroxidase(TPO) Ab 147 reference interval 0-26 >Thyroglobulin, Antibody 9.6 reference interval 0-0.9 These are antibodies tests, high levels suggest that immune system is attacking the thyroid. Suggest because it's not definitive. > TSH 6.970 reference interval 0.450-4.500 This is high. TSH stands for thyroid stimulating hormone, it's a hormone produced by the pituitary gland.
1327431 tn?1327072104 There is no normal range with thyroid, every person has an optimal range where the have no symptoms, the problem today with thyroid is that many mds still use an old reference range for TSH as an example, some go by .05 to 5.5, some 0.4 to 4.5 and the better one use .03 to 3.
