I have been taking desogen (apri) birth control for over 2 years and have not yet missed my period for over a day. this is the first it has not been consistent. I am sexually active with a steady partner in a monogamous relationship. I am not ready for a child and need to know if I should seek a morning after pill, take my birth control for next month instead of my placebo pills to try to start my period, or what other options I have.
I got my period on March 5, had unprotected sex on the 13th, and spotted on the 19th (i never spot before or after a period). i had missed the pill the day i had unprotected sex. since the 19th i have had cramps, nausea, constipation, sore/swollen breasts, my nipples hurt constantly and are always hard. i even noticed the bumps around my nipple. my period is 18 days late. i've taken at least 5 pregnancy test and only one has came up positive. could i be pregnant?

I have taken it religiously every night at 8:50pm and havent missed a pill I had unprotected sex several times on Sunday November 27, however he did not come inside me. I was just wondering if my birth control was affective then and if there is any chance I should be worried about a pregnancy?

After that period, I took about 4 of the pills before I decided to go off the pill for a few months, since my bf and I broke up months ago and I don't like taking medicine/hormones I don't need. Naturally, my period started again a few days after I stopped taking the pill, so maybe the beginning of August. Last week, I made a really stupid, stupid mistake and slept with my ex w/o protection.
This is my first month ever being on birth control and i'm on the 28-day pack pills called Apri. i started taking the last week the "reminder pills" 3 days ago and the way i understood it is that i'm supposed to get my period on the first day i took the reminder pills...could i be pregnant or is there something else wrong?
I am 22 years old, and have been on the pill for 2 years. I typically take them around 8-9pm, and if I forget one, I remember about 8am the next morning....12 hours late, then I take my normal one at 8pm the same day to stay on schedule.

I had some really odd symptoms with Yasmin and begged my dr to take me off of it, since then I was on Apri, which is just generic desogen. Initally did much better on this one so I'm not sure how yaz/yasmin works but I can say my withdrawal bleed "period" got way longer on it- I used to only bleed for 4 days on Aleese, then gradually this increased and due to weight gain and water retention switched to Yasmin...
I had sex on 23 Apri (although i took emergency pills 5 hours later)l and my expected period date is 5 May. i wanna take a test even if i do not miss my period this month.please tell me the exact date
and also tell me which test should i take ? i mean blood or urine? which test is more accurate to detect an early pregnancy and is more reliable?
I will be finishing my second complete month by this weekend, so I am suppose to have a period by then. We will see I guess. I am so use to having a period every month, not having one freaked me out. Plus, all this discharge/blood randomly coming out of me is weird. I hope my body is still just getting use to the change in pills. Any help/suggestions?

ve been on the pill for about 5 months or so now but my period has been coming later then it should like; My pake says I should have started THU and I just now started, 4 days after that -MON-.
I and I've been really moody, and been peaing alot, and having headaches.
I myself was a birth control baby.
Oh, and we don't use condums. -We should but we don't.-

Some women don't test positive on a urine test for a few weeks after their missed period. Make sure you are testing with your first morning urine for the most accurate results. I agree with GordonBaby too, wait a week and test again if you have not started your cycle and follow up with your doctor.

Me and my fiance had sex on the 13th of march today is the 26 I normally have my period around the 23-24 and it last about 3 days I have yet to get a period he did not "***" in me also I have been off of the depo shot for about 5 months now should i buy a pregnancy test or should I wait it out I really don't want to waste money I'm really stressing about it and don't know what to do even though I'm only 2-3 days late
