I have been taking desogen (apri) birth control for over 2 years and have not yet missed my period for over a day. this is the first it has not been consistent. I am sexually active with a steady partner in a monogamous relationship. I am not ready for a child and need to know if I should seek a morning after pill, take my birth control for next month instead of my placebo pills to try to start my period, or what other options I have.

After that period, I took about 4 of the pills before I decided to go off the pill for a few months, since my bf and I broke up months ago and I don't like taking medicine/hormones I don't need. Naturally, my period started again a few days after I stopped taking the pill, so maybe the beginning of August. Last week, I made a really stupid, stupid mistake and slept with my ex w/o protection.
This is my first month ever being on birth control and i'm on the 28-day pack pills called Apri. i started taking the last week the "reminder pills" 3 days ago and the way i understood it is that i'm supposed to get my period on the first day i took the reminder pills...could i be pregnant or is there something else wrong?
does anyone else get this....they happen around period time....and sometimes after....my heart will go skip beat skip beat skip beat skip beat...for like 10 to 15 seconds...it's really slow...not a fast skip beat skip beat...but it's very annoying...

I made mistake of having frottage first time in life though I am still virgin but I do not want to get pregnant. The situation is i had last period starting on 3rd Apri if I am not wrong and I had frottage (genital rubbing without clothes) on 14 h April where i was extremly wet and my ex was not wet at all, he did went to washroom but did not do anything and came back which mean he didnot pre ejeculated neither he had anything on his penis.

I had some really odd symptoms with Yasmin and begged my dr to take me off of it, since then I was on Apri, which is just generic desogen. Initally did much better on this one so I'm not sure how yaz/yasmin works but I can say my withdrawal bleed "period" got way longer on it- I used to only bleed for 4 days on Aleese, then gradually this increased and due to weight gain and water retention switched to Yasmin...
I had sex on 23 Apri (although i took emergency pills 5 hours later)l and my expected period date is 5 May. i wanna take a test even if i do not miss my period this month.please tell me the exact date
and also tell me which test should i take ? i mean blood or urine? which test is more accurate to detect an early pregnancy and is more reliable?
I meetin with my fiancé for the holiday on Tuesday 17 and I just realized I will be on my periods or that week is there anything I can do to skip or have an early period before 16 don't want to spoil my Christmas holiday
I will be finishing my second complete month by this weekend, so I am suppose to have a period by then. We will see I guess. I am so use to having a period every month, not having one freaked me out. Plus, all this discharge/blood randomly coming out of me is weird. I hope my body is still just getting use to the change in pills. Any help/suggestions?

I have been on birth control for a year now and I decided I was going to skip my period, because my boyfriend was coming in town for the weekend. Everything went fine and I did not have my period, but now I am feeling the consequences. I am now on the second week of my new pack and I am spotting like crazy and my breast are very sore and larger than normal. Also, I am breaking out pretty bad and just feel very tired. I was wondering if there is any way I could be pregnant?

I started taking YAZ 5 1/2 weeks ago and was told by my doctor that I could not take the placebo pills and continue through with the regular pills so that I could skip my period that was scheduled to happen while on vacation. I am scheduled for my vacation in 8 days and yesterday started my period even though I am taking the pills with no missed dose and no white ones. Its more than spotting, more like a somewhat light period.
Women can skip periods sometimes for no reason or, because of being sick, stressed or several other reasons. You may want to make an appointment with your Dr to find out what's going on.
s not something that I really want to deal with on our one year anniversary, so I was wanting to either skip or delay my period. I am on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen, which is a triphasic pill. I have tried skipping my period before by just taking a new pack before I started my period, but I had break through bleeding. After doing some research, I found that that isn't the best way to skip your period on a triphasic pill.
