For the past 10 days I have had light brown discharge non-stop, bloating, and bad stomach cramps. I was on Azurette birth control for about a year and then I switched to Mircette(this is my first pack); so I was wondering if the switch could have anything to do with it even though they are basically the same birth control. I am due for my period on Tuesday the 29th. I am very confused as to why this is happening so I'm wondering if you have any ideas or explanations!
ve been told that its 1mg of norethindrone is still pretty androgenic especially for those who already have an imbalance. Would Mircette be an option with desogestrel being less angrogenic? Also, any experience with prescribed HALF tab of OC? (ie. instead of Loestrin 1/20.. use 0.5/10 for hormonal imbalance?) Just concerned about initial breakout.
Just some background... I have not used OC previously.
does anyone else get this....they happen around period time....and sometimes after....my heart will go skip beat skip beat skip beat skip beat...for like 10 to 15 seconds...it's really slow...not a fast skip beat skip beat...but it's very annoying...
ve been on Mircette (a.k.a Kariva). Before I started Mircette I stopped my pills about 3 days before I was supposed to right before I was to start my cycle. Anyway, long story short, with this pill all I've had are bad gas and gas pains, some cramping but other than that I don't feel like I'm on bcp. Well yesterday I was supposed to have my period but when I thought it was here, I had mucus like cm and then some pinkish brownish discharge with it.
im not due for my period for almost another week. im not really sure what is going on. i havent ever had sex with my boyfriend. i gave him a couple handjobs since my last period and i didnt think he got anything on me. but im afraid now that maybe he did? i dont think that would have gotten me pregnant or anything though. i just dont understand what this brown discharge is? it doesnt smell or anything. and its not heavy. it just comes out every couple hours?
I meetin with my fiancé for the holiday on Tuesday 17 and I just realized I will be on my periods or that week is there anything I can do to skip or have an early period before 16 don't want to spoil my Christmas holiday
Also taking birth control (Mircette) continuously for period suppression (ie, only 4 periods a year -- 3 months of active pills followed by a one week break.)

How is it that my T3 is elevated and the other be fine?
I have been on birth control for a year now and I decided I was going to skip my period, because my boyfriend was coming in town for the weekend. Everything went fine and I did not have my period, but now I am feeling the consequences. I am now on the second week of my new pack and I am spotting like crazy and my breast are very sore and larger than normal. Also, I am breaking out pretty bad and just feel very tired. I was wondering if there is any way I could be pregnant?
I started taking YAZ 5 1/2 weeks ago and was told by my doctor that I could not take the placebo pills and continue through with the regular pills so that I could skip my period that was scheduled to happen while on vacation. I am scheduled for my vacation in 8 days and yesterday started my period even though I am taking the pills with no missed dose and no white ones. Its more than spotting, more like a somewhat light period.
Women can skip periods sometimes for no reason or, because of being sick, stressed or several other reasons. You may want to make an appointment with your Dr to find out what's going on.
s not something that I really want to deal with on our one year anniversary, so I was wanting to either skip or delay my period. I am on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen, which is a triphasic pill. I have tried skipping my period before by just taking a new pack before I started my period, but I had break through bleeding. After doing some research, I found that that isn't the best way to skip your period on a triphasic pill.
If you skip your period when it's supposed to come. Then you might be pregnant. But just for now, take a pregnancy test.
Anyway I was thinking of taking them to skip that period but do not know the best way to go about it. Should I just start taking the day my period begins( which is what the doctor said) or can I wait until about a week or two before my period to come to start and hopefully still skip it without having the bc in my system for too long? I know it says you can start BC anyday if you know for sure you are not pregnant.
If you mean, can you skip the placebo pills (the 4 white ones at the end of week 4) in order to skip having your period, yes. As always there may be some spotting, but in order to skip your period, you can throw away the 4 white pills and start a new pack on day 24 instead. I'm not a doctor, but this was what I was told when I asked my healthcare provider.
I decided to get off BCPs and since, have been feeling awful. I am back on the pill (continuous Mircette), but still do not feel well. I would love to find an endo specialist/surgeon in the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia area to get the endo excised. I am tired of feeling so awful. I would love to travel to a specialty center, but I have 3 young children and a part-time job. Thank you so much!!
My 10 years old daughter got her first period in January this year, but it seams that it is too frequent. Until now the period between 2 cycles is less than 28 days, approximately 15-20 days,light and of red-brown color. Is it normal?
I’m currently on sprintec for birth control and i like to skip the last week in the pack to prevent bleeding. When i do this i do not have enough pills to keep taking the next pack. My pharmacy will not refill until it’s time. What can i do?
It's not that uncommon for women to either skip or miss a period sometimes. If you're under stress, been sick, changed your diet or have made any other changes it can delay your period. If you don't get it soon you may want to see your Dr.
