Common Questions and Answers about Antihistamine irritability

antihistamine

Avatar f tn The worst ones that bother me the most are the EXTREME fatigue, irritability, and the dizziness. I am suppose to take allergy shots but cannot tolerate them. Every time they increase the dose, I react and we have to stop. I have tried and tried to do them but after 4 failed attempts, I am done trying. I have tried medications and am currently on a prescription nasal spray which helps a little bit not enough.
Avatar n tn How long can i use antihistamine for my daughter aged 7 months to relieve her of the eczema itching.
666921 tn?1254990618 I personally don't take antihistamine but just some advice I read that - antihistamine suppresses the immune system - never thought about it before - they work like steroids - some very good advice on another forum was - do not take antihistamine if you have lyme I am sure some of you already knew this but just thought I would mention it

605458 tn?1539228808 I have had bipolar disorder all my life, but it wasn't diagnosed properly until I was in my mid-twenties. For a long time, depression was my primary and most debilitating problem. As I moved into my thirties, mania became my primary issue. Now, at 37, it has moved into mixed episodes, three days sky high, three days way low, over and over or, manic and depressive symptoms simultaneously.
1691407 tn?1332712547 The meds themselves can cause irritability but not remembering could be a symptom of another complication. I have been a space case since Day 1 and there is so much I do not remember. I would keep an eye on this and ask his Hepa about it. Further and most important I hope someone with more insight than I have posts. I do not want to unduly alarm you since I have no direct experience with HE other than what I have learned right here on the forum.
Avatar n tn Ok Mommys I have been extremely irritable and hormonal the last two days and I just don't feel good at all. No consistent contractions but I've heard increased irritability is sometimes a sign of labor coming soon. Anyone have experience with this?!?!

Avatar m tn (like walking on a boat) Brain fog and irritability all made worse with stress. More intense later mornings. Seemed to have started after three years of Insomnia. Sleep is better. Put me on Nortriptyline which improved sleep and dizziness but still have slight balance issues and some fatigue and tiredness. Anyone else experience same thing and other medications that may have helped?
Avatar n tn Hello. My name is Ed. I have Bipolar II. I was diagnosed in 2005 and stabilized with Lamictal and Abilify. However, I've never really gotten a handle on irritability. Although I've dealt with anxiety and depression, those have more or less been managed. But I still find myself having uncontrolled irritability, and I get crazy over things that wouldn't make a normal person crazy (chirping of car alarms, people whistling, other stupid stuff).
Avatar f tn I went to the hospital Tuesday night and was having a lot of irritability and some big contractions. Last night i had some bleeding and contractions so i went back to the hospital. They monitored me for a while and I was having real contractions steady 4 mins apart for a couple hours but they said it wasn't making me dilate anymore than I already was, so it wasn't labor. The doc sent me home. I have a 10(almost 11) month old so with all these contractions I have a hard time.
632919 tn?1252774093 Right now, my pdoc and I decided that it might be beneficial to try a med washout period. So, I have been trying to get off Effexor for the last few weeks. I had been on 75mg since November. I started by alternating 75mg one day with 37.5mg the next, then 37.5mg for one week, then 37.5mg every other day. I didn't make it a week with 37.5mg every other day because the withdrawal was so bad. So now I am taking 25mg generic immediate-release venlafaxine for one week, then 12.
Avatar f tn I have been having chronic irritability for a while, I am not sure if the kratom is causing it or depression. Because I had chronic irritability in the past before I discovered the kratom but I don't think it was as bad, now I cant stop obsessing over it, the irritability is so unbearable its like I want to crawl out of my skin. My psychiatrist tried to put me on a anti-psychotic but I am afraid to take it.

Avatar m tn The side effects have been manageable for the most part, but lately I have been dealing with very strong bouts of irritability. Yesterday I found myself yelling at them for no real good reason. This is compounded with having two daughters ages 9 & 11 who don't understand how the drugs affect my moods and anger. I also feel somewhat aggressive in my speech in general with strangers.
Avatar f tn I was wondering if anyone ever gets extreme irritability? I don't mean just impatient or annoyed but physical pain, a weird restless sensation in my nervous system and at the same time feel very depressed and fatigue, when this happens I cant tolerate any noise or people. It seems like this happens about once a week or twice.
Avatar n tn What kind were you taking?
7510956 tn?1411671417 On the sides of Sovaldi it mentions irritability, like I really need more of it:) Has anyone had this experience and share what you did about it?
Avatar n tn He has a female cousin with the noise irritability problem, and a half brother with the touch problem, too. Is this indicative of a mental illness? A few different ones run in his family. It's greatly affecting our marriage. I can't do much with him without irritating him, and he can't handle being around our toddler daughter much, either. Any thoughts?
2010625 tn?1329372056 I have started to become nervous and irritable again and it is scary. I was like that for two years straight and I really don't want to do it again. I eventually got diagnosed with PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), and later with Bipolar Disorder. The only thing that made it go away was the Risperdal they put me on. Unfortunately I had to go off of it because it raised my prolactin (the hormone that makes women lactate and can also stop a womans period) level sky high.
